I’m slightly in net Negative today because I got 2 1 stars unfortunately.

I'll get back when my attacks are done. So far attacked once and defended twice. Down 16 at this point, but have an extra attack obviously.

I haven't attacked yet, but I've been attacked 4 times now. I'm surprised to find that the 4 attacks have been FAR worse than what I was otherwise getting hit with in the 5100 range. I'm sure some of it is because I usually sat with an empty CC, and was getting attacked shortly after doing my last attack of the night (so heroes recovering). I was routinely getting hit with full armies for high 2*, 80-90% if not 3-starred. Now with 4 attacks in I've gotten 1*'d twice, and 2*'d twice with no more than 60% damage each time. 4 defenses have taken about 60 trophies from me...which makes me pretty happy.

I actually set up a spreadsheet that I intend to populate with daily results so I can see how I'm doing. Love this update and really nerding out on it . So far I am as follows:

Attack 1: +40
Attack 2: +12 (barf)
Attack 3: +11 (double barf)
Attack 4: +40
Attack 5: +40

Defense 1: -22
Defense 2: -13
Defense 3: -21
Defense 4: -22
Defense 5: TBD

So at the moment I am +65 on the day, worst possible result would be +25. That would be 5750 at season end which seems.. not bad! time will tell where we all end up and what the new trophy ceiling ends up being

I’ve only attacked twice and took 2 on defense . My attacks 100%-95% both against solid th12’s for a plus of 71 if I remember right . On defense I defended for a -4 and then lost -17 on a two star . Numbers could be wrong I have C.R.S. ... . I’ve seen a lot of complaints about low loot but for me I’m not seeing it as a problem with high percent attacks , legend bonus , star bonus and losing zero on defense . So I think I’ll stay a while in legends . So far a big fan of the update :thumbsup:

Unless your some attack ninja I would be surprised to see so many 40s, I only got one against a rushed base and a 99% against an early 12. Every other base was as maxed as myself and I got 20+ trophies on those except the 70% 1 star with a th I could have spit on to finish!

Not really no, you attack different people to those who attack you

Currently +129 and -50 with 2 more defenses yet to come (maybe)

I caught a few bases that my standard raid really does well against, I use a bowler killsquad to set up hogs, so if the killsquad can take out CC, heroes, plus maybe the eagle or an inferno to boot, I am in pretty good shape.

The 2 fails also reflect this, killsquad never made it to the core and my hogs were torched by the Giga

I got four 3 star attacks and a 2 star for a +184

I have been 2 starred twice and 1 starred by someone that hit me without a king for a very lucky 1 star for a -50 so far

I'm up 134 so far.

It’s been disguised to not look like that because so many people don’t like the direct PvP of builderbase (ignoring the fact that it being the only loot gathering mechanism which causes the dislike).
But essentially, yes. And yes, this is why I’ve akways been hella salty about builder base, because this is what should’ve happened instead.

In your attack/defense log where you've always seen them. Your base won't show destroyed when you get online, but there should be the little red indicator on the envelope letting you know you were attacked.

4 down on both attack and defense. A pair of 3-stars and 2-stars so I'm up 142 and they've hit me for 57 (10/23/12/12), so at +85 so far and at +45 if I fail to make my last attack and get 3-starred.

All ccs are filled with defending troops for example.
I just got my first zero-star in like 6 months in legends. Dropped my queen into 4 teslas plus bombs. She did not recover. Healers gone too. Tried to still go for th, which made me lose everything in the end. Should have gone for 60-70% one star.

Well, Legends in the past was about patience not about skill. There is a reason why none of the top 10 clans have a war streak longer than 1.

Ouch. At least a bit of balance to those claiming quite so many 3*s.

Trap testing is your friend. Old style higher legends would usually bring a lot more trap test and funnel troops than you would usually expect.
Particularly in the more defensive phases of the game.

Legends has now changed from being primarily attack/time spent centric to being attack/defend centric. defense matters a whole lot more now than before.

And yes, % matters a whole lot as well.

Not a bad day at the office. For me it makes a big difference to have defending Heroes and CC regardless. I generally attacked without siege or CC troops when farming to make sure they were available for defence and only used them as a get out of jail free card. Now I can use them in every raid as I know they will be available for defence and the heroes won't be down from attacking.

Alright 5 attacks done, and 4 defenses so far.

Great idea with a spreadsheet! I will do the same:

So far:
Attacks: 40 (100%), 24 (74%), 31 (95%), 40 (100%), 32 (98%)
D-fense: -22 (69%), -25 (77%), -20 (64%), -16 (50%), TBD

I am also loving the update but have noticed that my CC is not deploying even though there are 2 dragons in it. This is defo hurting my defenses as the 50% defense would have been a zero-star, soul-crushing loss (the very best kind hahaha) if I had a cc that would have deployed. If it does the same tomorrow - I will file a bug report on the appropriate thread.

so far I got 4 attacks, no defenses....and now we wait. Little tricky to bring troops you need for an event making a less then ideal army and plan to attack a base you can't scout or next, but guess will see.

A net gain today of 30 something cups, which is much better than yesterday when I had a -55 defense! The good news is I was able to do it in much less time and was able to watch some war attacks. On my second account I’m up over 70 cups with 2 defenses to go though. That one I’m not as strong on, but mananged to get a defensive win so that helps a lot. Being matched with low legends on that account also helps since I was farming in low legends before the change.

got my first defense, was a little odd it used the correct updated layout, but not the right CC troops. They only got a 1 star ...and so far my war base has never been 3'd in war. This will be interesting to see how it holds up to people who can't scout it.

It’s a real mixed bag! I would be surprised to see 6k next season based on what your all saying so far!

It's really hard to tell after one day, but I could very likely end up with >50 trophy increase today, as will a couple others in this thread. If that holds true, 6000 should be obtainable. Like I said though, very hard to predict after 1 day, especially with only 5 attacks/defenses

But as you will be put up against those in your trophy range, I would expect the daily gains to drop, so whereas +50 might be the case early on, later in the month you might only see a +/- 10 trophy change per day

And I don't know what trophy range you're currently at, but remember that people will get matched up with folks near their trophy range. I would expect large-ish swings in the first few days, because you're taking some people who are at a trophy level due to time online and some there due to fewer attacks but more skill...and you're pitting them against each other in a contest of skill. As the Legend League stratifies based on this new setup, daily net stars should start to shrink as people move into trophy ranges with people of similar skill levels.

I'm at ~5400, which admittedly isn't elite legends at this point. I agree that it will likely decrease as one moves up, but it still is hard to tell after only 1 day of data.

I was caught up in the whole 4900 Legend debacle, so only 4 attacks for me today.

Attacks: +27 +40 +40 gives me +107 with 1 attack to go
Defends: -2, -16 gives me -18 with 2 defends to go.

Net +89 so far. Even if I get two -40s for my last 2 defenses and don't use my last attack, I'm positive for the day.

I'm loving this new system so far.

Luck (and I wouldn't take every post at face value, some folks gotta one up even if it means stretching the truth) has a fair bit to do with the +40s your army comp vs the base you happen to in matching. I was still trying to do pass events so my army comp was less then ideal didn't get any roll over bases out there either so the best I got was a 30 pointer, but I'm sure some folks are going to get lucky and find some 11s, or rushed 12s for the first few days for easy 40s.. doubt that will last long.

The trick unfortunately is going to be going with a reliable army that you have a lot of experience with to give you the highest chance of coming out on top of any situation; which also means playing with army comps is no longer something to be done while farming since each attack is now so valuable

(all offers were th12 maxed as of update, all bases islands (except the 3s), annoying wo AQ).
(to note: all 8 bases offered to attack were exactly at my starting cups: 5056, I was attacked from 5000 to 5134)

The wait is at the start of the day when it’s finding your opponents. Once your opponents are found you can attack at your leisure with zero wait time.

I would imagine that tomorrow we won’t even see that timer, unless we’re online at 8am Helsinki time. But that’s 5am in the uk so I won’t be seeing it. I fully expect to wake up tomorrow and just have 8 opponents sitting there waiting for me to attack them.

Had the day off today and was able to get in all of my attacks. So far +162 on offense (all 5 attacks complete) and -33 on defense (only 2 attacks completed so far). Will be positive on the day.

I’ve seen a lot of complaints about low loot but for me I’m not seeing it as a problem with high percent attacks , legend bonus , star bonus and losing zero on defense . So I think I’ll stay a while in legends . So far a big fan of the update :thumbsup:

Right i think people keep forgetting that very thing, no loot lost on defense.

So imo you dont need to farm as much because what you earn from raiding and the loot from your collectors, drills and mines is yours daily.

My first atk in new LL 40 TROPHIES😍😍😍

I only got 2-stars on attack but managed +91 cups and lost 51 on defense for a positive net of 40.

5 attacks = 142
4 defences = -62

net gain on day 1= 80cups

5 attacks - 4 triples and one 15% 0* disconnect.
5 defenses - -11 -11 -16 -18 -3
Ya.. low Legend sucked. My attacks were against 2 TH11s, 2 new TH12s, and the disconnect vs the max TH12 base.
Net gain +102 and no resources... Hope I get matched with some actual 12s today.

5 attacks: +168 cups, 4 defenses: -68 cups, Gain: +100 cups.

I got 5021 when the legend day started.
5 attacks +166 / 5 def -49, then +117 for first day.

I really enjoyed to be able to attack without any cloud... Thank you SC!

Wow, very nice result with the defenses. 5 defenses and still only -49. This proves defenses are equally important.

But i am in low level of legend range, i can imagine that defenses will become harder in higher stages 😅

actually on some bases i do hit the trap side...it depends on your army and how you deploy use spells etc

Trophy counts at the top are going up fast... top players at 6.5k+. There are some great attackers up there so no surprise.

First day 5 attacks +131 trophies (40/27/29/22/13 - virtually no loot on the 5th attack!!), 4 defences only -51 trophies (one of which was a "win" on defence). Overall plus 80 to get to 5150 - I started at only 5070.

Be mindful to get the storages or the loot can be minimal - it's NOT based on % achieved, only trophies are.

Well on my first day I did pretty well:

Attack: 29-30-25-40-27 = +151
Defense: 13-13-4-12-0 = -42

That last one was a player starting attack then quitting, seems he wants to drop.

For today I started pretty week, so far I had 20 and 16 offense. Both very meager 2 stars. No defenses just yet.

Really enjoying this new legend league: Apart from the wait at opting in, every base is available immediately, and some very good bases to attack. Like someone earlier said: Unplanned war attacks, as you have to do with the army you have got. Bathroom break raids are once more an option :D

I've netted +111 trophies:

Attacks:
1: +40
2: +40
3: +40
4: +18
5: +40

Defences:
1: -22
2: -8
3: -9
4: -9
5: -19

I have enjoyed the first day but I don't think I will be staying in legends.
I'll see how good the loot is over this week as I feel I may be able to farm better in Titans.

great thread!
Just posted the below in the feed back thread, only then thought it might be a good idea for a seperate thread, only to find someone was clever enough to start one already ! Cudos !!!

So day 1 was a shorter day, and each (or was it only I) were given 5 attacks to complete in the remaining time.

On the whole, I find advancing muuuuch slower, than it was before.
I had a bad day, trying out different army compositions, and frustratingly getting a base better suited for an air attack when I had a ground attack prepared, and the other way around :-/

I started out with a decent 2 star attack for 85% and 27 cups
followed by (ugh) three one star mess ups for 45%, 55% and 71% (at least a got better there) gaining 9, 11 and 12 cups
finally I hit the top mark on my 5th and last attck 100% +40 cups.
total gain +99 cups

What was the balance at the end of the day ?

I took only 4 defences (thank you 5th attacker for missing out, I am truely grateful) these went as follows
1st defence 1 star 44% loss of 9 cups
2nd defence 2 stars 66% loss of 21 cups
3rd defence 2 stars 66% loss of 21 cups
4th defence 2 stars 62% loss of 20 cups
5th - - -
total loss -71 cups

That is a net gain of +28 cups.

There was no golden hour.
I am started out at 5245 cups.

Yeah trophies work different. You cant lose them from attacking, but when you are attacking you earn trophies based off of stars and %, 40 being the highest you could get.

On defense you would lose trophies based on the attackers preformance using the same trophy scale.

Just my idea of a spreadsheet /single player tabs:
rows = daily tracking,
columns = 1 date (calculated), 1 starting trophies, 8 columns of defenses, 8 columns of attacks, 1 daily difference (calculated gain/loss), 1 ending trophies (calculated), column of misc comment (could include defs out in upg, heroes out of offense).

The top row of the tab, used to populate the front sheets summary, could have stats such as:
- players info, tag, forum name, th-level, status as of June18(?).
- average daily trophy count - to locate the player in trophies, (average of either start or end trophy data),
- average daily trophy gain/loss (avg of daily difference),
- average daily attacks (divide number of attacks made by 8),
- average daily defenses (divide number of defenses by 8).

Scoring reminder: scores 0 to 4 stars are failed 0-star, 5 to 15 are 1s, 16 to 32 are 2s, 40 a 3s.

Looks like the same model that I am using, I just PM'd TS but if anyone has any guidance about getting them up onto a Google drive I would be happy to share!

After a rough day today I am going to test out my CWL base ; it gives a higher % but often 1 stars.. curious if it pays off or not - one advantage to a custom base is people don't know the Layout.

this is what I like so much about the new legend league. When I read this tread it seems that everybody is winning. :facepalm:

Im sure those who are doing well are more enthusiastic about sharing their results haha

For example, I'm 4/5 in 3 stars today! Regrettably the 1 miss was a 50% flub for only 10 cups, but by and large I am loving this new system

Day 2 was horrible for me. I managed to get 2 stars on 7/8 attacks, with a single 1 star attack. Still ended up -60 because I got tripled 3 times on defense. Starting to get worried about this new system. No clouds is so nice but my rank is dropping.

So you need more stronger layout and need more stronger troop composition in army camp :)
