No im not joking. I contacted them to change the email address because i had some issues with the linked email. They said ok they will help, unlinked the account. Now that account is renamed, in a different clan and upgrading town hall.
WHY IS SUPERCELL SUPPORT STEALING ACCOUNTS!!! Given we put money into these accounts this is completely unacceptable!!!
I have picture proof of all of this.
I expect some kind of a response about this, because another clan mate lost a near max TH11 also.
Yikes... might have been someone impersonating supercell support via email.
Did you access the support through the game menu?
It was in game, thats the worst part...They sent a msg (notification pop up) to that acct that i couldnt read. And the email was no longer linked, now the acct got taken over.Quote:

OP.... by chance, did somebody say they would give you their account for free and have you put in their email address in the Supercell ID menu?
Here's an update....Another supercell support member was able to give me access to my account. However this does NOT even come close to solving this issue. The clan has 4 accounts with the same name my account was renamed, meaning there is a group who either hacked the customer support area, or they are working with somebody at support to steal accounts.
No this has been my account since I started it. Its a max Th7 i used to hold leader in some of our CWL clans. Thank GOD i changed leader or else I would've lost the clan as well. He dropped all my friends and the account is now upgrading TH....so somebody def had it.Quote:

this i can attest to. i contacted customer support about an enemy clan cheating. to help them find the war in question i put our clan tag in the message. immediately following that our clan got inundated by bot accounts named You joining leaving spam messages and leaving. i told customer support that this indicates their communications has been compromised but they apparently ignored it or don't care. to this day if we set our clan to anyone can join we get hit by bot accounts. this never happened before i contacted customer supportQuote:

if I got a popup i couldn't read out of the blue, i would ignore it and report it. however the hackers had an easy time because you would think it part of a process you initiated

The unread pop up was the notification on the ipad itself (the opening screen saying they sent you a msg. It was along the lines of "The first step...." When i went to login on the ipad, it said that email was no longer associated with any account (meaning the sc rep unlinked it). That was the account i was talking to SC on, and the only device i had access to it (i got a new ipad so i was moving the accts over and didnt want to wipe the old ipad until i knew all my accts were working).
Well it was one other player, he claims the same scenario, asked to change emails, (his was th11) then next thing he knew, it was renamed and stole. Same in game customer support.Quote:

Screen shots aside (i have them all of the acct, the name change, clan ect) but this thread is more for Supercell to address this. This is something they need to take very seriously. Had it been my th12, Id be even more furious given the $ that is spent on higher level accounts. But this shows there is a major security flaw in whatever company supercell has doing their in game support when accounts are being stolen.Quote:

all kidding aside, the best this thread can do is act as a warning to others not to trust anybody else with account information or blindly think sc (or at least their cs) is bullet proof
Op, just trying to follow the discussion. Not sure how you got the message from Support. Did it appear in the clan chat with a link you and other members could use to get help?

May be ! I had used the customer support once 3 years ago when I lost my Th9 avcount because I hadn't linked any gmail id to it! Customer support was really great and flawless and I got my account back the next day through that "link device option"..
I don't know how the process goes now! But after reading your statements , I am in a half-mind to create a dummy account and check how the customer support works🍍

Here I'll make this even easier, so you are telling me contacting THIS in game support, I've been scammed. Then apparently nobody who plays clash can even contact IN GAME support anymore. I think you are focusing on the wrong thing. The bottom line is after SUPERCELL IN GAME SUPPORT unlinked my email, the account was mysteriously stolen. Which tells me, Supercell In game support has a security breach and players accounts are being stolen by people who have access to this info.
How about you NOT assume anything. I created this account from day 1, was NEVER purchased, no free Gems....This is simply an account i use to hold leader in other clans I have that i slowly build when i get time. So do yourself a favor and stop accusing people of purchasing accounts. I built each and every one I have.Quote:

OP; your only recourse is to contact Supercell Support again. No-one on the forums can help you; no one here has access to game files.
