after the lastest update and the 1 gem barracks boost, the looting is terrible bad
Just spent around 150k hitting next, average gold range: 1k4 (yes 1400) to 90000s gold, NO base with higher loot than 100k, let alone 200k.
Current league: crystal III.

Edit: actually yes, there's a 150k Th10 base with 2 discoinferno. What a joke.

Upper Crystal feels very dry to me (TH9).
Lower Gold has been awesome lately (TH7, but loads of loot from TH8 and TH9 bases).
I'm not surprised, I think lots of players are using the barracks boost to up their trophies, and it's getting over-farmed in Crystal. In lower gold, I've seen loads of poor bases with full collectors, many are easy wins so these are headed down even further.

I'm lovin loot! I'm a th8 around 1600, seems to be very nice.
Had a extreem loot evening at 2050+. Got 1,2 million gold in one hour without barracks boosting :D

Let's make things clear, raiding at TH8 will still be good but us TH9's are currently up the river without a frickin paddle right bout now.
I have TH 9 and I farm around 1500 cups. For me, the loot isn't better since the update- maybe a Little Bit worse- but it is still okay.
Personally never found loot to be a problem... Before and after update,just hit a 700 k base when logged on, doesn't take long to come across decent bases... Just experimenting with ranges was the down time... Or I coulda looked in forums i guess...there's plenty loot around , I don't even need the loot i raid, walls done upgrades busy, i leave my base loaded for raiders, been over hour last time I was on not even raided once... Which sucks cause I'm working on something and need to be raided.come get me lol.
better loot? well, it is better now but not better than before the update.

I'll still argue that this new loot system hasn't really benefited anybody except th10 players, personally I hate the changes as the main argument for changing the system "it will make things easier to save for" has not happened at all. When the patch orginally came SC said things would improve within a week or so of the changes, well that time has now long came and gone and things have definately not improved.
Suffice to say if they don't address this issue within the next patch I will be another person who builds an Iquit base
I am TH9 and did 4 lava walls yesterday and next hour I will have done 5 lava walls today. Loot has been great. A few days ago I did about 1 million gold in 11 minutes.

The game is not broken. Your farming range/language (if in fact that does affect matchmaking) is broken. Currently a th9 in and around gold 3/2 and I am finding TON upon TONS of loot.
I have maxed out TH9 with 44 pieces of lv10 walls. My TH just upgraded to lv10 now. Tell me which thropy range is the best plz

Awesome to be honest been finding great loot after a few searches between 1400-1500 but i hope it stays like this !
So true. My base is being continually attacked by th9s doing quite a lot of damage. Normally I can escape with only one of my storages hit so loose 100k which isn't so bad but I got attacked by hogs and lost 280k which really sucked. I have to upgrade my th a lot quicker just so I won't be easy bait.Quote:

Just to throw it out there, I had more than two 500k+ gold raids, I ignored the elixir but would have been million + raids.
Loot is fantastic today and I am a early TH9.
Those inactive TH10's with full collectors/mines are appearing

I'm having great luck today as well. I was seeing quite a few dead bases at about 1350 trophies on my TH6 so dropped from Gold I to Silver I on my TH8 and am raking in about 1.1-1.2m gold per hour. Doing this with 100Barb, 100 Archer with no boosted barracks and my only level 5 troops are archers. Don't revert the loot, it seems good for pretty much everyone who knows where to farm. ;D

It has been getting better for me quite a bit, except today has been horrendous. Went to bed with 4.6 million gold last night, still trying to get to 5 million for my archer tower. Just hit next about 180 times, to get 150k gold. As a TH 10, that's a loss of about 30k, and a lot of tedious time.
loot has been great the last 2 weeks. I just raided 3.11 million gold in just 43 minutes with boosted barracks. I posted my attack log in that section of the forum as proof.

Loot's been fantastic for the last couple of weeks. TH9 level 97. Been BARCHing the last few days, but between that and BAM managed to grab 14 million+ gold without a lot of nexting. Since last Monday have done four 45 minute barracks boost sessions, the rest of the time just casual raiding. Been hanging out in Gold 3 - Gold 1, mostly. Couldn't be happier.
loot is surprisingly good atm
It's not realistic to answer such a question in the current climate, best way it so break it down into two elements.
1) Loot per single raid - WORSE. I'm having to take a lot of 150k to 200k raids, also having to search A LOT more for it.
However
2) Loot per hour - BETTER. Providing you use the barracks boost you can take the 150K, and be back in matchmaking again with a full army in just a few minutes.
What is really important, is how loot will be [or if SuperCell will change anything] once the boost ends. I still believe more gold needs to be generated under the new formulas, sure we can make good gold right now thanks to cheap boosts. But cheap boosts are only temporary. I am more interested in keeping the game fun with good gold per hour long term. Not for only a few weeks.
Loot has been great, even considering its been over a weekend. Raiding style has changed slightly. Adapt and overcome. Have keep builders so very busy. All three xbows are going to max along with one air defense.
Next problem: no free builder once I fill gold storages again.
Farming in the 1150 - 1300 range is awesome. I think I farmed 7M each in 2 days. That's great for me.
A to the mother trucking men brother. In ~300 searches, seen MAYBE two raids over 200k gold, and not by much. Purty much acceptrd a 90k raid to be acceptable, and 3/5 builders cracking away to be good, so if you can't beat them, pass out on your collectors and hope for the best.Quote:

Made 3 raids during lunch time just now. 2 are loaded stores (300k and 360k gold), 1 is a inactive base (200k gold). The problem is I need to take more than 50 next to get all 3 and they are killing all the fun. I do not have problem taking on loaded bases but why are the TH9 and TH10 up here are so poor???
Everyone in the forum is saying how good the loot is at gold 2 or 3. Seriously I do not wish to come down and farm those TH8 but if the loot is going to continue to be so bad at crystal, I had to come down...
Hopefully it do not have to come to that... sorry in advance to those TH8...
P.S. SC new update have the good intention of making more loot available to the higher TH and making higher TH an more attractive target to be farmed so we won't bully the lower TH. But alas, it is not working as SC had intended. Too little gamers are keeping anything in their stores to be raided by anyone... Thus the endless "next" occurs in order to find any loot...
I'm not sure what the hell everyone is complaining about. The loot is great for me.
I had to go down to gold 2 and 1 to find bases with good loot in order to farm for my upgrades from this new update I was able to get my enough money in 2.4 days of playing to have all 5 of my builders working. Attacking every 30 minutes Archers and barbarians and wall breakers . average loot is 150k gold and about 180 elixer sometimes i got lucky n would find some with 400k of both but loot suked in crytal 1 when the update came out ill go back up in 12 days wen my infernos finish upgradingQuote:

well I got 2.5m Gold, 1.5m Elixir in 45 mins. boosted 2 barracks and 1 dark barracks. I raid using BAM
yes im trophy pushing and theres abandoned bases everywhere and im not even trying to farm
In essence this entire boost freebie has been to placate all the miserable TH 8s and 9s. No more moaning about the loot system, guys?
Wait till after the boosts have gone, and complaining will begin again....
