What happens if you upgrade the lab while a troop/spell is currently upgrading?
It pauses.
The upgrade of the troop or spell will continue once your lab is done upgrading.
The troop research is put on hold while the lab upgrades, so if you had 2days left on researching lvl5 archers when you upgrade the lab, they will still have 2 days left when the lab is done upgrading.
