Thanks for reply, I think I should cast off the boat that require dairy and sugar.

Aha, hadn't thought of the 'needing more milk' aspect. Fair point. I also do sugar and dairy boats!! (Some of us still exist:p) so I appreciate I have the choice not to do so. I do manage for sure, even with the boat orders, so maybe I ought to change my vote:confused:;)
I voted no; I do have to run cream and butter all day every day just to break even with how much of it I use on a daily basis, and that doesn't count any help to anyone else (I don't do my own dairy/sugar boats). But I still think there are ways to handle it, and if necessary you can just take a day and make no products that require dairy so that you can catch up.
I do think dairy and sugar boats should at the least be nerfed quite a bit. Asking for 11 cream a crate is just dumb. Asking for 11 brown sugar a crate is dumb. Asking for 7 white sugar is dumb. Dairy and sugar boats are no fun whatsoever, nor is trying to dig out from the hole that they put you in, nor is the fact that it seems like the overwhelming majority of help requests in this game are from people looking for dairy and sugar. Not only is it very difficult to have enough to fill your own boat and operate your farm the way you want, but I get so many help requests for this stuff that it's impossible to help everyone or even half the people asking for it. It's not uncommon at all for me to have 8 or 9 people all asking for this stuff at the same time, very often looking for three crates, which means you can have over 20 crate requests at once for dairy or sugar. Why is it fun to see that every day and have to choose which one to help? These are things supercell should take into account when considering whether or not they want this game to be fun for their players. I'm not sure I'm in favor of taking it out of the game completely, but at least reducing the amount that the boats ask for would fix a lot of problems.
Open all your slots and master your dairy and you will find that 1 is plenty for making your products and filling boat crates - yours and neighbors.
Something to think about. Some of you mentioned other threads where the reasoning for not adding more sugar and dairy seem well thought out. You've been playing a while and find the balance relatively even and think that the developers must have thoughtfully and carefully done the math. BUT and it's a big but. As they add more recipes and more machines, those well thought out algorithms get out of wack. Think about it in terms of your family. For years, you've bought a gallon of milk every week. Its been enough even though sometimes you run out the day before grocery day. Now your grown son, his wife and their two kids move in. Do you still just buy one gallon because its always been enough, or do you buy a second one to feed the extra people?
Think about the fishing area. Some of you may have decided that you don't need to expand the fishing area. It takes a bit of time to make lures and by time the next one is made, another area is available. Depending how you play, you may have thought that even fully expanded, the area is plenty big. BUT. I just came back from placing and retrieving my lobster traps. I used three lures to fish, still have a net in the water since they take soooo long and because I can't yet update my lobster pool, have one in the pool and two more in traps. I think I even have a trap in the water. Others have speculated that soon the fishing area will be too small. Some have said they won't use the nets because they take too long for just fish and the area is screaming for us to lift the fog and expand somewhere down the road in another update.
I think you get my drift. As the game grows the demand for more of certain items that have always been in short supply will grow. Is now the right time for more dairy or sugar machines. Maybe, maybe not. But I suspect that we all love this game because it is dynamic and love new updates and new things to do. Unless they never add another soup or coffee or cake recipe that requires butter or sugar, we will need to be able to produce more. Just as a second feed machine is essential as you add sheep and goats and five smelters are provided because it takes so long to process the ore, we will need more sugar mills and dairy buildings
wow! I can be so eloquent so early in the morning.
