Sugar supply keeps up with demand as long as none of it finds its way onto boats. That's been my experience anyway. Once you put 30-40 brown sugar on a boat you will have no sugar for making cakes ice cream etc for quite some time.

i already have! on my second farm lol. it would be great, that, or having a 4th or 5th star mastery. imagine making brown sugar in 5 mins and white in 10. woot!
Could you fantastic SC guys in your next update please provide us
another dairy production barn and also a sugar mill. It is almost impossible to keep up with production,
especially if you fill truck orders, boat orders and help others too. Much appreciated!

Why IS there a restriction on the number of goods making machines? In the real world, you can buy or build as much as you can afford
Could use another feed mill, too!!
It's asked for by boats, items which contain sugar are asked for by boats, HECK even often both are asked for at the same time!
some suggestions which are always suggested (but lets keep up the good work):
- Lose the asking for sugar/dairy AND something which contains it too in the same boat or truck order
- stop asking for blimmen dairy or sugar anyway
- give us another sugar machine
- give us another dairy machine or make the times halve (because its a pretty big machine)
any other ideas hay dayers?

If we could do double production on the sugar mills you'd start to see a lot more cakes, coffees and other more complex items more often in the shops and ads and you'd see more people helping with those boats.
I'd rather see a correction in the balance of boat orders to ease this conundrum. This way, we'd still be offered challenging but not impossible boats as we often get now. Personally, and don't ask me how I do it because I've no idea, so far I've manage to make nearly every single boat, including those that ask double sugars and other sugar products on the same boat. I've filled most boats on my own, only cast off empty a handful so far, have never asked for sugar, only ever asked for one crate of cream, and asked twice for syrup (once all 3 and the other time just 2). Yet, so far, I've still somehow managed to have enough extra sugars and dairy most of the time to give away. I've just turned Level 50 and have only the candy machine, two stables, and five horses to obtain and barn is 1100 and silo 1300, which I think is within the average range for this level.
Unfortunately, it looks like whatever I was doing right, I've slipped up on because I'm having difficulties with this new boat event...four boats in a row asking for chocolate popcorn is just way too much to bare. My next is for chocolate popcorn, white sugar, and potato bread (uses white sugar) :p which I'm very low on due to some of the items on the previous boats and helping neighbors, and my sugar mill queue has brown sugar and syrup mingled with what little white is in waiting.
LOL I'm really scraping the bottom of the barrel and reaching for the stars here, but I'll be beaming with satisfaction if I succeed. While nearly impossible, I'm not convinced it IS impossible.
I understand from a recent post that I read but can not find, that they MAY have once asked for jewelry and maybe candy on the boats but due to these being so impossible to fill, they deleted these items from the boat order carousel. I guess the next in line to add challenge to a boat was sugars and their products so that's what's being put into the slots left empty from removing jewelry and candy, hence so many double orders. Just a theory.
EDIT: yeah! I made it. Had that boat filled within about a minute of it's docking. Whew! That was a challenge. Thankfully, my next boat has no chocolate popcorn and only requires white sugar for the ice cream. I can finally relax. :D

i have 925 barn slots but even with that I have to limit what I can store. I never have more than 10 of any product I stock at once. And I find it hard to stash any sugar or dairy....
Agree we want a challenge, but I don't think making more sugar would impact on challenge. It would def help with community building though! I never have enough dairy or sugar to fill others boats let alone create my own products.
My barn is at 925 also, but I keep mine stocked in high quantities for the sugars at 40 each, dairy products (except goat cheese) at 40 each, jams, goat cheese, and syrup at around 20 each. The stock level for everything else is based on production time and availability to buy it. Things that you can find in the newspaper all the time, I see no reason to keep more than 1 or 2 of and then I just buy what I need. Most of the remaining items are kept at about 6 or 8 each. My silo is at only 625 and I haven't really found a need to take it any higher. I keep the highest stock of the everyday crops, but I only collect the trees and bushes when I need to.Quote:
