Why is a centralized clan castle important for low levels?

Hello all. Just recently, I have seen Daddy's video, saying that ever since you get a clan castle (townhall 3) you should always keep it centralized. However, a townhall 3-5 base is so small that it is almost impossible to make an unlurable clan castle. When a clan castle is lurable, attackers could just place one troop, then when the clan castle comes out, corner them and kill them easily.
Wouldn't it be better for a clan castle to be by the side, but still not far off from the base? Low level townhalls have very little walls to work with, so wouldn't a clan castle in the center, inside walls and everything, be a waste of walls?

Lol thats quite hard to understand...maybe teaching them to not be a noob , and start keeping it in the center when they even get higher , need to learn from the start to get better in the future :P

In lower Ths most ppl forget this step including me at those Ths so centralised cc is important and the size of your cc army is a decent percentage of size of the attacker causing mammoth damage and even if they do lewer they still need to use a large amount of the army lowering the impact on your base

centre is the best placed for CC.however everyone use the trick to kill CC troops first.if u place CC in corner then it goes totally waste.

The Clan Castle should be centralized at lower TH's, because it is easily your best defensive unit at lower TH's. You don't want anyone avoiding it, because that makes it even easier for them to destroy you.

I understand it's very hard to make it un-lurable at lower TH's, but understand that most of the people who attack lower TH's are not seasoned players who may not know how dangerous the clan castle can be when disregarded. There isn't much any base can do when attacked by somebody who truly knows what they're doing, but luckily, most attackers are not seasoned veterans.

Yes, the castle is important and does a ton of damage at low levels, but at townhall 3 especially, a clan castle just a bit to the side will usually cover all of your core, and most of your base.

lol just seen this. You are absolutely right it's not about luring it's about coverage - lots of bases have the CC on the side so one area won't trigger the troops when attacked - I hope that makes sense.

And yeah i forgot the AD on the TH4 base (face-palm)

Yep, teach them young, but also its a lot of fun watching level 5 troops pop out of TH3 clan castle - it gives junior members a tonne of confidence and a terrific foundation to build on.

Personally, I kept my CC at one end all the way to TH6, with my TH at the opposite end. Your CC has huge hitpoints, so can be a great tank to keep archers etc busy while a mortar/wiz tower kills them. Nearly every raid on me, especially up to TH5, they attacked my TH and didn't get much further.

But yeah, a lot of it comes down to how skilled your attackers are, and how often you actually keep your clan castle full. On my 2nd account I hardly ever bothered until TH7, to be honest, and did just fine, so putting it central was a waste I had better things to put there. Mostly I did a few raids, spent as much loot as possible, then logged off with nothing much to raid - the joys of lower TH!

In my opinion, up to TH6, there are a number of interesting and different ways to configure what there is of your little base, but the absolutely best defense is spending your loot asap, and because everything is so cheap, it's quite easy to do so.

It's not in my oppinion, just as you said it's still lurable at low lvls. Keeping it Close to the wall or in your outer layer is enough, it will still be triggered by the attacking force.
Might be useful to keep it in the center from Th 6, it's still lurable but your defences will kill alot of luring troops, I think it's ok to keep it on the outside until you reach TH 7 though.
