Made a mistake, big mistake - help?

Do you think Supercell will assist me in this matter?

I was 2200.00 away from having enough to get the ice cream maker and I accidentally used diamonds OMG - yes. I instantly panicked and thought I am screwed. I lost what appears to be 400 + and all my money. I guess the message said something like would you like to use diamonds to cover the amount you are missing etc? I am not sure. I was in a rush and stupidly assumed it was just a message saying - you do not have enough cash etc...... Big mistake. I lost half my diamonds in one mistake.

Will supercell fix this or am I screwed here? I know it was my mistake so I am guessing I am just screwed. I have told myself I will just uninstall and let the rest go to waste. I do not think I will get over this. I am so upset I assumed something and made a big mistake while doing so.... I guess I needed to ask just to ask. I supposed I might get some flack over this but I am okay with that.

Pretty sickened. In a sense it is good though, or at least I am spinning it that way. I will quit the game if this cannot be rectified so in a sense I will save money in the long run. I had already spend nearly 80 real cash this month in gems and saw myself getting out of control with this so I might save money (lol)... I have to look at it that way I am so crushed and feel so stupid......... Flame on (if you wish)

I'm so sorry for you Tgan, can't imagine what it must feel like to lose such a high amount of diamonds and cash! Buuut, and I don't remember who it was, someone posted in this past week about contacting the crew about his/her accidentally spent diamonds and got them refunded! So I'd say you should at least give it a try and email the crew! I wish you good luck and all the best!

Thank you for the reply. I did send in an in game help request. I really hope they can help. I know I goofed but I feel terrible. I cannot lose that amount and keep playing, it would bug me to death so all I can do is wait for now. Bad time to do this also, with the holidays upon us. I accidently used over 50 diamonds filling up a boat order. I never realised until a day or so later that I was 50 diamonds missing I hunted everything for extra boxes opened and just couldn't see where I had spent them. So I contacted sc and reported it and they replied with in 48 hrs the time date and how I had spent them. And then refunded them ( they didn't have to) but it was most appreciated.

Sounds good. I hope they do the same. I realize they do not have too, so I can only hope. Still so annoyed at myself.. I have not touched the ice cream maker -- I hope to hear from them before Christmas but I do not expect it, all good.

If you have sent an email to the report an issue link in the forums setting explaining what has happened and telling them you'd spent real money on those diamonds, I'm sure they will be understanding. As MsLie said, I received my diamonds back when I accidentally tapped on a new apple tree while trying to scroll away, and your case is much more tragic. I hope you recover from this shock and keep playing. You've come so far and it would be sad to abandon your farm and animals now.

I finally heard from them yesterday and I was not given back my 506 diamonds. I did not think I would, since it was my mistake. A simple mistake yes, but a painful one - lesson learned. I am unsure if I will continue with the game since this mistake has completely messed up my system and playing style but I do know I will never pay again so at least that will make the hubby happy. Believe me it was getting out of hand quick..

They (SC) did compensate me 100 diamonds and while I am grateful for that, it is just not the same.....

Hi Tgan. I'm pleased SC at least returned 100 diamonds to you; that's better than a slap in the face with a wet fish, as my dear, old mum used to say. I think most of us have learnt the hard way not to play too fast, or when you are nodding off over your farm. Please don't give up on us. Take a day or two, gain some perspective, then start cranking out and selling ice cream. It sells well and you will soon have your bank back in the black. Keep checking those toolboxes for the 5 diamond boxes and fishing with lures for those diamond bearing fish, mining and completing achievements, that will keep the diamonds flowing without the need to buy the. Without the diamond confirmation button being rolled out to everyone instead of just the select few, buying diamonds is just too risky unless you have a specific purpose for them and use them immediately for that purpose. Chin up, Chook! Your farm needs you!

Tgan, I'm glad you got some of the diamonds back. I understand how horrible it feels. I have accidentally used diamonds to speed things up sometimes and it makes me be a lot more careful about clicking. I wish there was a confirm button before being able to spend diamonds!

Well, I didn't know you could ask for a sort of refund when you spend diamonds by mistake. I wish I had known this before.
I Made the same mistake some months ago.
Well I was so unhappy, but I didn't give up. So Tgan, don't stop playing only for this! Use your creme machine, forget the past. It happened, it was bad, but you can recover the amount.
