How good of a gold farmer are you?

so I made up this formula kind of to find out how well of a gold farmer u are for ur TH. so u take ur TH lvl/ most common lvl wall.

the lower the number, the better. lowest possible is 0.9, highest is 10. if number comes out as "undefined(UD)" or "divide by 0 error" then u are really not a good gold farmer, or ur stupid(this is jokingly not rudely). this happens if u don't have and walls or mostly no walls. TH2 and TH3 are exceptions to "not a good gold farmer" or "stupid"(:rolleyes:). (yeah its not completely reliable but there isn't anything "perfect"

once u find the quotient using the formula above, that is ur number. find ur group and TH using the "chart" below. whichever category ur number falls into, tells you how well of a gold farmer u are. (it kinda even tells you how well developed u are!)

*EIOBYCDB- Eh... its OK, but you could do better...

Group 1 Score: TH2 Only
UD- Normal; 1 or 2- Amazing!

Group 2 Score: TH3 Only
UD or 3- EIOBYCDB*; 1 or 1.5- Amazing!

Group 3 Score: TH4, TH5 Only
UD or 5- Bad; 2.5- EIOBYCDB; 1 to 2- Amazing!

Group 4 Score: TH6, TH7, TH8 Only
UD or 1.6 to 8- Bad; 1.3 to 1.5- EIOBYCDB; 1 to 1.2- Amazing!

Group 5 Score: TH9, TH10 Only
UD or 1.5 to 10- Bad; 1.35 to 1.45- EIOBYCDB; 0.9 to 1.3- Amazing!

When u get ur quotient, if its an awkward number, round it to the nearest hundredth.

So to post below, just do your group and then your score! So since I'm town hall lvl 8 with mostly level 7 walls, I would be in group 4 with a score of about 1.14 which puts me in the "Amazing!" category! So I would reply down below saying "4, 1.14" and other comments or whatever and 10chars (;)).

Now you know how good you are!

Technically, you can have a ratio less than one.

Th9 with lvl 10 walls

Th10 with lvl 11

According to the formula, I would be an amazing TH7 farmer, but my loot consists of 3 starring with dragons in Crystal II and I only get like 400k resources a day because I don't raid much due to...life. :P And Infinity Blade III.

Skill ≈ being good at something/skilled
Being good at Clash equals with a lot of time investment, walls take much more time to farm = takes (the clash definition) skills.

How does being good at Clash qual a lot of time investment? I think that having a high level abse and being good at gold farming are two different things.

The key to farming is in knowing that you are not as good as you think you are.

I know one particular gold farmer who is humble to the core, and he has my respect, and i do think that he is the best farmer in the game, regardless of stats.

I'm horrible at it.:p My TH level is too low, can't find the right range, I'm not active enough, etc. 200,000 a day if I'm lucky.

Rather then being based on wall level it should be based on gold grab. Even if I was a th 10 with 124 level 11 walls it would still consider the majority of walls level 10 and therefore discount my 496 mil gold farmed. Just foot for thought. Forgot to mention, i'm considered amazing on this scale.

Doesn't give anything, only show if you've rushed your TH without paying attention to your walls. Btw, you do know that buying lvl 11 walls doesn't make you an "Amazing" farmer?

Group 5; 1.43 (average).

Not that I care about justifying myself here, but I plan on doing all of my upgrades before walls. There would need to be more motivating factors such as average loot per raid, avg. spent per raid, avg. time spent playing etc. Hppefully one day SC can throw in these stats on our profile.

Looking at what you guys are commenting on, some points are kinda of vague. Okay, farming gold for the buildings upgrades is nothing, no offense. Its easy. Walls is were it is at!

Here's the thing though, looking at a person's wall doesn't tell you too much as well. Maybe a guy with half level 10 walls, half 9 level walls is much worse than a guy having lets say 200 level 9 walls. Oh yeah, and for the example, lets say that the two of them are the same TH level.

How? Well maybe the guy doing the level 10 walls has been doing them for 8 months who has only 125 of them were as the guy doing the level 9 walls got 200 of the walls in about a month in a half. The level 9 walls guy is obviously is going much faster. At the same time, who knows how long each person is playing, one guy might be playing 8 hours and the other might be playing 3 hours. Also, one guy could be farming the walls as a Th10, which is much more difficult. The other guy could be a TH9, were its much better, having no major loot penalty like a Th10. Also, one guy can be spending all of his gold on the walls alone, but the other guy is spending his gold on the walls and the building upgrades.

Its impossible to judge how much a person is farming. The only person who can know how well you're farming is yourself. Others have no true evidence.
