Where is the Dark Elixir?

First off I am a mid-TH9 in Crystal III. As a TH8 I could of easily got the Heroic Heist if I had needed the DE before moving to Th9. This was all pre-update. Back then I could find easy 1000 pots of DE with basic farming troops or hit for 2,000+ reliably with a overnight combo.

My struggle right now is I can not find DE that isn't massively protected. Sure I can do alright using a no DE farming composition (I still can fine 1,000 pots, just not as easy as before) but I also can't make the same gains in DE doing that.



So did DE move up? How far? Am I just unlucky of late?

this is probably because of the 1 gem event, everyone raid each other... using DE to build massive amount of hogs in short time. I was attacked by hogs more often than before

I'm having the same issue not sure if people are using more now or it is getting the same problem the loot system has created. Another thought it could just be with more players now playing with android so like all loot things have just dried up.

Plenty of DE in Crystal 1 (and probably C2); (forgive the one TH snipe)

I do net 55,000 elixir from a win in Crystal 1 btw.

I was afraid you'd say that. I seem to have trouble farming and gaining trophies.
