yes I gemmed my farming troops and some finishing times of upgrades.
stopped doing that a while ago, though.
Currently about to finish maxing splash.
still a lot to do.
since i need to wait for days for a builder to finish., i now put my TH inside to avoid shields by TH snipers.
farming is easy and if somebody raids 300/300/1.5 from me it will be back through mines and collectors or I farm a bit.
doing a lot of dragon donations if I don't raid.

i now use the shuriken base

I can see an end coming to my TH8 days.
All teslas are going to level 4, one cannon and one archer tower are maxed.
Maxing all buildings of those three defenses is the last thing I will actively pursue before going to TH9.
Still it will take some weeks for sure, simply because of the build times :)
First though I need to look out to stay high in cups, as my clan has started a two week push. Just a week after coming home from Forum Elite II;)

Base is Shuriken still, but some buildings are misplaced. I need to take care of that before the shield runs out. (I bought a loooong shield afer Forum Elite II)

thought I re-visit my old premmie-thread :)

I am upgrading to TH10 at the moment !
Once the TH will be done, all defenses (besides ATs) will be maxed. All Elixir upgrades will be maxed.
Since I farm in the range of Crystal 1 to Master 2, I won't be influenced by the loot deduction (no TH8 bases to be found here anyways).
So I can do the rest of the upgrades when I am on TH10, but first I will focus on getting the ITs of course. They cost as much as the next AT level, so it was kind of a no brainer, plus I have nothing left to spend elixir on.
No interest in grinding walls higher or upgrading heroes much anymore either.
Looking forward to getting the TH10 troops and spells and camps for my clanwar attacks !

grinding walls will be slower but still very doable
grinding heroes won't be slower, it will be actually faster because we can take more DE from stronger base using TH10 force and no big 2.5K loss again since infernos will protect DE.

Balloonion guys like us get big bumps since we will have minions lv.6, 10 more minions space and extra rage or freeze.
