I have red scarves on my next boat....*sigh*....not sure yet if I will try to do it or send it on. I like some of the decorations.

Only reached the first so far since I had no wool items in storage and despite desperately searching the DD it's not yielding much. Got a 4th package of presents.

Desperate for the Christmas tree, though! :(

I'm doing mine as I seem to be casting off about half of the boats that are sent my way lately...not helpful for gaining wheel points and keeping from dropping to the bottom of the leaderboard. :p

checking thru the DD I noticed a lot of boats are wanting loom items, sometimes more than one. Part of the challenge, aye? I thought my next boat might, but no, tomato juice which I am pretty low on, but no loom items. I'm picking the next one will, tho' and it will just continue down the river empty!

so far I have one poinsettia and one snowball. Guess the Nutcracker might be next.

I am happy with this event even though I purchased a lot of these with coins last year. I spent diamonds this year to buy a second Christmas tree just because I wanted another. I also purchased the carousel because I had to have it, too cute to pass up! The third Christmas tree is certainly welcome as is the snow globe, extra packages and nutcracker. The glowing snowball is a oddity but what the hey. I have only purchased diamonds once in the year and a half that I have been hooked on this game, I've received tons of free ones so why not spend them on items you want or need.

I think it is wonderful that SC has given lower level players a way to decorate their farms for the holidays without spending diamonds. If this event isn't for you, that's fine, play your way. I am looking forward to a new sleigh! Happy holidays to everyone.
