I have completed my first goal-do I need to carry on? I don't really want the decorations?
You don't have to continue if you're already part of the global event for the sled, unless you want more holiday decorations.Quote:

I had 6 of each loom item when the event started, so I queued up hats in my then-2 slots and bravely contributed all of them, thinking, only for a moment, that my next boat may want loom items...but what are the chances? Really? Immediately thereafter, I was shopping all of my neighbors' RSS's, found a total of 17 blue sweaters, bought them, and contributed all of them, too. Within just a few minutes of the event starting (or at least of me first seeing this event), I had met my first 2 goals! Woo hoo, this will be great! I'll keep doing hats only, since they are the quickest to make!
Then I finish my boat order and what does my next boat want?! BLUE SWEATERS!! Needless to say, right before bed, I opened up a 3rd slot on the loom and have all 3 working in making blue sweaters. I have not been able to find blue sweaters at my neighbors any longer and none are advertised in the DD...and not until this evening will I be able to peruse the other items anyone advertising in the DD may be selling. *Sigh*

To be honest, I don't like this content :(
You get only a few coins + only a few XP as reward plus decoration items...
You spend +/- 2H on producing one item and you got only few coins & xp...
