TH9 Masters 2

Hi guys, just wanted to ask some advice on getting to masters 2. I am currently having some trouble getting past 2700. I got to 2723 today but I always end up back around 2650-2700.

First off, I am level 97 and I have been a th9 for a while now (and I've been debating whether I should upgrade).

IGN: Tyler
Clan: Full Throttle (currently ranked 230!)
I think I am ranked 8 or 9 in my clan.

Also, you probably need to know the levels of my troops in order to help me!

All my elixir troops are maxed besides Balloons (which are level 2 lol don't judge).
Just finished upgrading Hogs to 4
Minions lvl 4
Rest dark troops lvl 1

I have tried a variety of army compositions such as GoWiPe, GoWiWi, and Hogs and I found that I do best with GoWiWi with a lot of Wb's thrown in.

Honestly a big part of it also is finding a base I want to attack (which takes forever lol)
I basically skip any th10 i see with the new multimode inferno tower because it destroys anything i throw at it. And I have had some seriously embarrassing attacks going up against them.

Anyways, let me know what you all think and how i should go about getting those last 100 trophies!

You should really try to max your balloons, because they get really good at level 6. Once you so that you can do balloonion which should help you to climb trophies much easier. Although this is a fairly heavy army on elixir, it's very effective.

Unfortunately my clan's trophy push ends this Sunday the 22nd so I will not have time to upgrade my balloons. I know balloonion is very popular and all my clanmates have suggested this! I was just hoping to hit 2800 before I go back to farming.

I have never tried this but my clannies get hit by barch armies on their anti hogs base. Basically they use barbs, archers and heroes to take out all the free buildings on the outside. Once they get to 48% they 2 lightning a builder's hut twice to get the other 2%. They only get 1 star so it might take a while.

I have heard of this strategy as well but I have also heard it requires a bit of practice and a keen eye on exactly which bases to attack. I would love to try this, although since I never have I would be afraid of losing trophies ;)

Also I had someone join my clan recently who showed us his technique he calls FFF (Four finger fighting). Apparently you use four fingers and just overwhelm the base with barch. He showed an attack of it and it looked legit. You have to be real quick with this type of attack though.

No need for anti hog designs with the op inferno towers..wont find any bases that u can barch up there

I agree 100% that inferno towers are overpowered. It is quite frustrating! :cool:

Since your push will end on this Sunday, I recommend sticking with the army that you are most confident in. This is definitely not a good time to try new combo.

To break 2800, unless you have confidence in your defense, you have to attack to get those trophies.

1)Try to raid as many raids as possible in a row without logging out.
2)Try to go for bases that offers at least 24 cups
3)Try to go for bases with off-center TH so you can get both TH and 50% for 2 star
4)Definitely take any free TH if you find any.
5)Lastly, when you are near 2800 and going to rest for the night, do consider buying a 1-day shield to keep your trophy. Rest well for the night. Next day, prepare yourself well for the last push to break master 2.

P.S. Got myself master 2 during my clan push last month.

my clan mates have hit 3k using loons but since yours are lvl 2 thats not a option. hogs would be the best option if they are level 5 and you avoid discos.
