I managed to make 5m a day attacking. But the problem was, and I agree with SC on that, the loot system was old and not efficient, as we had better benefits attacking inactive bases rather than attacking fellow active clashers and looting their storages, because the loot limit, 200k, did not encourage us to take some risk attacking some highly developped bases.
So their goal was to make attacks on active bases more attractive by increasing loot limit. And this was ALL GOOD .. up until they nerfed the loot percentage.
Increasing the loot limit is good as it encourages people to quit the inactive bases raids for more "dynamics" raids between active players. But by reducing the loot percentage (from 20 to 10%), they made a huge mistake : most attractive bases (200k/200K minimum) disapeared as they were bases with people having approx 1M ressource in their storages.
Problem is that post update, the majority of player, who got ressources in their storages from 1M to 1M5, became totally worthless targets as they appear as ~100k loot bases, which is terrible and not beneficial.
And the whole point of complaining about new loot system is that mathematically, the VERY FEW people logging out with more than 3M in their storages cant make up with the overall nerf of all the majority of people who appeared as 200K bases before update and now appear as 100k base.
And what I was saying is that yes, loot is good. Loot is as good as before, because of inactive bases.
I'm still using barch, and I'm still making 5M a day attacking inactive full collectors bases (I have trouble finding inactivre bases though since barracks boost came out but manage to maintain 5M a day with boosted barracks).
But loot system is broken.
And it requires some intelligence to be able to say: yes MY loot is good, but I know for sure that LOOT SYSTEM is broken and non-efficient for most players.
That's what most people around here defending loot system can't realize by lack of insight: yes you can have good benefits with full hogs or miniballs armies, more than before.
But what they dont realize is that for 1 [person] having increased loot via full raids on full storages bases, there are 9 other people complaining because they can't find any decent 200k base with their mid-tier armies.
Overall the loot system is broken, and most people dont enjoy it...
What I do know is that I was expecting a new loot system which would incent me to quit inactive loot for more active loot, which would add dynamism into the game and what would have been great.
instead, what I see, is a failure: the loot system favors 20% top maxed players who can afford to make some very expensive armies like full hogs or full balloonions (not everybody has these troops lvl 6), but is a pain in the ♥♥♥ of other 80% players who saw their loot decrease because there are no more 200k base to be found: everybody rely on inactive bases to get loot, thus inactives bases are rarer, and thus, every body loses.
Except for the few chosen who have max armies and luck with targets.
