Is it worth it?

So for a while I've been asking myself whether it's worth it or not to max my walls before upgrading to TH9. I'm a hardcore farmer, so I have the maxed out defenses, the maxed out TH8 troops, etc. I've been slowly upgrading my walls to level 8 for the past month or 2. And so far I'm at 123/225 level 8 walls. But I've had such a big temptation to get TH9. New defenses, the Archer Queen, Xbows, and stuff like that have caught my eye, and I want them pretty badly.

I've got 123/225 walls done as I said above, but I'm not sure if it's worth it to continue. What do you guys think?

If you really are a hardcore farmer you should do them before upgrading to 9. It's a lot quicker with a lower town hall...

Yeah that's true. But at the same time, this new loot system causes me to get picked on by TH9's and 10's. So keeping my loot to upgrade the walls isn't always the easiest thing to do.

I personally don't think you need to do them all. But I guess I'm not hardcore enough.

(I am a TH9 with everthing maxed execpt wall and heros. walls are lv 7 and 8. heros are lv 8 and 10. I am upgrading to Th10 right now)

Yeah, the whole reason I started upgrading them was because I wanted to get them out of the way so I wouldn't have to worry about them later.

Ghx if you wanna go to th9 then go. it is your choice. but you have good walls done so do like a total of 175 walls or something for lvl 8. if you there will be pressure at th9 because th9 you upgrade lots of expensive stuff. good luck.

You shouldn't be losing much if you have under 1m in the storages with max TH8 defence. Every time you get a mill chuck it in a wall. Personally, I would do the walls... but it's up to you. You get another 25 with 9 you'll have to do as well.

Yeah that makes more sense. The extra 25 walls at TH9 shouldn't be hard to work with. Thanks for the advice. :)

The walls I have done now, I can tell it scares some people away, cause I don't get attacked as much as I used to. But what you're saying is true too. Thanks. :)

Personally, I'd take care of them now. I did at TH8, and it made a big difference. You'll have plenty to do leveling up your new walls and defenses when you upgrade.
