I noticed last week that almost all new threads have the same number of views as posts + 1. Older threads don't have that problem (see stickies). Did I mess with any settings or are more people seeing the same thing?

Just to be clear guys, the issue is not the +1 viewer. It's the fact that the total thread views seem to be 'lost'. Was there perhaps a vBulletin update mods?
yes, I PM'd mods last week about this, but have not received a response. I noticed it in my clan thread, views only go up when someone posts a new message, its very frustrating.
Do forum problems get addressed in this sub forum? The view counter is definently broken or shut off, its not helping the recruitment process.
Yea, we've noticed that. This thread showed 8 views in the column view, but I can see the names of who viewed it and there are 42. Not sure if it's lag, or a VBulletin issue, the admins are aware though and looking into it.Quote:

This is killing my recruitment chances, older threads have hundreds and thoousands of views and thats where most people are drawn to look first, everybody else just gets buried. How can this be going on for so long? Its bafffling
Can I just add that SC admins did not make this forum and I believe it is a bug on vBulletin
With the pending update I can fully understand this problems takes a very low priority. Still I'm curious for a status update regarding this problem. It's been a while.

I'm not quite sure why I bother to bump this, but still I will. Could we get any feedback on this. Please? It just keeps irritating me that the view count is broken. :)
