I think there should be another mortar that you unlock from town hall 7 and up it's annoying that there's only three and it bugs me because it makes my base look weird. Like I said I think the mortar should be unlocked when you upgrade to town hall 7

Yeah no. Another mortar would complicate attacking by quite a bit. If they did add it, it certainly wouldn't be at TH7.Quote:

Townhall 9 is done in 4's and 2's theres a few more archers and cannons, but the stuff you want inside is all sqaured, a few singular things like DE storage and clan castle, but those can be grouped with the xbows. So if you're going to add a mortar, i should be at TH9. perhaps they could increase the reload time by 33% or something to balance it
As much as i want a 4th Mortar to finally cure my OSD :rolleyes:, it would make tier 1 attacks under-powered and would be too strong. 3 is enough. 3 mortars and 4 wizard towers are enough splash, no need for more. So, basically no 4th mortar.
Maybe at TH10.
But I completely agree, 3 mortars is really getting on my nerves...
If it did happen [which is not necessary just to round numbers], no earlier then TH9 please.

I too am ocd about my base's symmetry, and so I love this idea. But, like everyone else said, if implemented it would need to be th9+. If this would make defense OP, the obvious way around that would be to increase offensive capabilities with the same update.
Mortar is already awesome, if sc added another it would just make it op
Mortars are already super good. Long range splash. I don't think anyone th 7 and up needs 4
if there was another one my barchers are dead. (spams 50 gets destroyed by one mortar)
I think the addition of another mortar is a good idea as it would help with my OCD, however as others have said it would make the bases over powered so I think that it should be added at around town hall 9 or 10, and to get around the problem of the mortars being to powerful they could reduce the damage on them or the mortars health or reload time.
There is already enough splash damage. Not necessarily needed for a 4 th mortar
