They aren't easy to find unless you go up higher which increases the risk you might get farmed too. These plentiful bases are more risky and require way more spells which is the bottleneck. The majority will still go for collectors. The best farmers will go for both.Quote:

I'm not saying you're wrong, my point is that if that happened to you and you werent keeping the same trophy count for the purpose of testing, I imagine you would immediately adjust.
The fact is, some people are getting loot and some people arent - and arguing about it on forums isn't changing that so all I am suggesting is that the best thing anyoen can do right now is to seek information to try to change their situation.
Anyways, liek I said in the original post, I don't want this to be a debate about whether or not the loot is good so I'll leave it at that.
I'm not making a debate out of it, just want to show that it is random unlike before. It wasn't my individual experiment but something we did as a clan. We compared with other clan members lower and higher in trophies. In Crystal, 2 members had opposite experiences, in Gold 3, 2 members had opposite experiences, and so on.
So although the sharing experience idea is good, it will turn out that what is great for X can be terrible for Y. And if Y is a casual player, then he will feel like the game isn't worth the short amount of time available to him.
Well Phal we've had our differences in other threads but I have to hand it to you - this is a great thread.
But getting gold is really not hard in this game. A properly used BAM strategy anywhere between 1200-1800 trophys will almost always get you over 1 mil per hour and 2+ million per hour on good days. Their are exceptions such as right after maintenance breaks or after updates when everyone comes on and clears their mines but most of the time the gold is there. What you have to do is just commit to an hour of playing and commit to hitting next until you find good collector raids where you don't have to use your full army. I can't stress that last point enough, raid bases that are inactive and only bases that are inactive. And do not use your full army unless you can get at least 300k. You don't need any boosts, you don't need any spells. Just grind it out.
Yes, it's boring and not nearly as exciting as watching hogs or witches roll a base, but it's efficient and can still be done even after this monstrosity of an update!
So.. I can't find any loot, does that mean I can't farm?
Did I farm my L9 walls and some L10 walls without knowing how to farm?

Loot is very bi-polar! Some members of my clan are finding amazing to good loots. Others like myself see a flood of sub 50k bases. This is at the same time, same trophy range and same th.
Some of my suggestions:
1. Multi purpose armies are better. You don't want an overkill army and then find a nice collector raid.
2. If you see an easy 100k, take it! Don't hold out for 200/200 raids
3. If you are seeing bad loot offerings take a break! No need to keep getting frustrated.
4. Relax, loot will get better next week once the gold boost kicks in
So when I do EXACTLY the same way as someone else and still am unable to find targets, how do you think it affects my interest in the game?
Some find targets, some don't. There's no experience or skill or anything else that was mentioned involved. It's either LUCK or something even more seriously messed up in the matchmaking.
The "good" intent of this thread falls to deaf ears for many and just gives an image of yet another "holier than thou" thread about great loot. It's tiring to read countless threads about bad loot, but equally tiring to read the endless counter arguments to such complaints.
Yes, I get it. You love the game. You love the update. Trying to stuff it down to someone else's throat just doesn't help anyone, except clearly making you happy.
There is a good intent to this thread. The issue like you said is that at the end of the day it's all down to luck even if some people claim to have the absolute knowledge on how to find great loot.Quote:
