I'm not asking whether you like the new system or the old system best. The stated goal was to help players at the high end who are feeling stuck or are moving in slow motion. The goal was to make it easier to save for the big upgrades. In your experience, has this been the case for your raids and raids against you? Are you finding it easier or harder to save?
It is so much harder to save up for upgrades... Getting slammed for 200k gold and 2k DE every-time I log off... So annoying! :(
Agree with Ventus. I lose about 150k Gold an 1k DE per Defense, so it became a lot harder to save for upgrades :(
It feels about the same... but only if I leave my TH exposed for sniping. As soon as I put it in, some TH10 comes along and 3-stars my TH9 with mass hogs, resulting in the loss of 350k of each and 2.5k DE, which is a bit much (even with an anit-hog base, those TH10 who still use them seem to have learned how to do it right). But if I can get a free shield 50% of the time, I can happily sit on my usual millions of each until a builder frees up, and get the next upgrade underway. Until the barracks boost, the average loot gained felt about the same, possibly even better (hard to be sure though, it wasn't long enough!)
My TH sits outside, but I'm getting sniped for resources multiple times when I log (when I have high resources in storage) without getting shielded. It easily outpaces what I can raid unless some trophy hunter comes along to poach my TH
To me, the update changed how i play. Sadly, but i live with it.
i was playing around master 1 and 2. Enjoyed it a lot. Challenging and fun. After the update, I got slaughtered up here. No way i was able to save 5 million for AT 11 (had 2 towers left) and Tesla 7 (3 left).
So had to drop. Now farming around 1500 - 1700. and not getting raided/killed at all. Almost max th9. So changed a lot for me. But easy to save at this level doing quick arch/barb raid over and over.
i wished they would have stayed with their original plan. League systems! Worked on it, fine tuned it. This made people look upwards, fight at more appropriate levels, build for better trophy ranges/leagues. They. Should have worked on this instead.
for example.
10% extra loot for each star.
X% extra league loot for each consecutive win (resets when you loose)
big reward when you bounce up one league. Penalty for dropping on purpose,
anyway, tons of ideas that could have injected loot and not spread more around forcing (at least me) to dropp down to 1600 to farm. :(
TBH, the loot has seemed about the same, and 90% of the time I get th sniped (or lightninged:()
Its been hell ever since the update, trying to get my lvl5 archers and giants has been near impossible. No one has any loot and the ones that do are TH9+ with stocked up defenses. I'm TH8 and farm between silver II and gold III.
Gotta follow the money up or down builders been busy for 9 mths.....
I'm loving the new loot system. Especially with the boost.
