I hope to do it again one day.
Congratulations, grfields, that's awesome!! And in two weeks, too ... that might even be a speed record. Way to go!!!
Just started scorched earth challenge, excluding mine, jewelry, candy. Three of us in our nhood are doing this together, all starting today but in different timezones. We all plan do do the derby.
Wish you success
Ty! This is a very fun and eye-opening challenge. B
That's awesome Bqbowers! Please keep us posted on how the challenge goes. I'm interested to see how easy it is to manage the Derby at the same time.
Ty, CL! Sorry for the brief brief posts -- as u know, i am otherwise occupied, rofl! We r in Champs League in Derby, so we will each be doing 9 or 10 300+ point tasks. We are levels 100+, 100, and 93. Our level 100 player initiated this, wanting a new challenge after he got his tree. It is very fun to do this with neighbors. One player is in Europe, others East and West Coast US. We each started Sunday morning morning in our own time zone.
I have made such mistakes already (why did i load a whole feeder with goat feed when it became available, yikes) and am positive i will do better next time! :) Haha.
Best, Barb
An update on our SEC started 05June. After a discussion with all three scorchers, we decided to make a revision to our challenge, and decrease jams requirement to 6 each, not 10. Now jams will not be setting our finish time, and we can have a more racelike experience. So we are excluding candy, mining, jewelry, and limiting jams to 6 each.
We think lobsters and blue feathers and their products will be deciding factors for our race.
Our derby tasks have included milk production, mining (such a great task for us), help and fishing. I did a fishing task with only five lures built up, and it took me more than 28 hrs to build worms and catch the 103 lbs. of fish :(
Happily yours, Barb
