HAIL BEARS,
Some of you may recall my panicky message on the forum a week or 2 ago about the new WB AI.
I immediately started rethinking the way my base was designed and ended up with something completely different, as did most players I believe. Before the update my base design was outfitted with "spikes", for the players that don't know what these are, they are extra wall segments protruding from your main wall towards the edges of the map.
These functioned as Wall breaker traps, as the wall breakers would target these spikes instead of the main wall. Thus rendering a Wall Breaker utterly USELESS (unless you had about a gazillion of them :o)
The update promised to improve this and in the beginning it seemed like Supercell had indeed improved all this epic idiocy... But soon I started noticing something strange. Yes, the little buggers indeed now ignored spikes and ran straight past them to the bulk of the wall, but after they had destroyed that, something strange happened...
It seemed that, rather than running to the second layer of walls (which is present in pretty much every base design, the wallbreakers now target the "strut walls" (out of lack of a better name I just invented this, I am referring to walls connecting separate layers of walls in your base.) HA HA HA, Supercell, nice fricking try...
So, after I started noticing this, I went onto the forums and found the picture I have placed below.
Another player noticed the same thing I did and redesigned his outer wall, creating
REVERSE SPIKES, bloody brilliant if you ask me, and hilarious... The idiotic little kamikaze can STILL be fooled, (the lines represent the paths the several wallbreakers took) it was indeed simply a matter of creativity and logical thinking.

Anyhoo, I wanted to share this information with you guys, since I will, more than likely be applying something of this sort to my own base design shortly, and I thought this could possibly help. If not, please ignore the ranting of a drunken and smelly old viking ;)
