I watched some Lets Play CoC vids on Youtube and followed an User named PlayClashofClans.
He uses gems like nothing and i wondered where he got those from...well in one of his Videos he introduces an app called Appbounty. You just have to sign up and download free apps. By doing that you earn points which can be redeemed into itunes giftcards...:D

I do encourage all Riverbears who have been with us for at least a week to visit Cavebears at some time. They are Viking folks like us. Friendly, helpful and kind people, family orientated and spiritual, who sometimes boil their enemies in large vats of animal fat. People just like us.
And do expect some of the cavebears to come and visit us from time to time. Remember a Cavebear is like family. They are to be welcomed, made to feel at home, given plenty of food and mead and not fed to the crocodiles.
Soon I will be be leaving Riverbears for a short time to begin a new feeder clan for our two respective clans. This will be called Icebears, and will form part of our MIGHTY BEAR EMPIRE!

In case you missed this:
When you are battling, the difference between your Townhall level and your opponent’s Townhall level determines the loot available. There is a penalty for battling with lower levels as shown below:
Percentage of Loot Available + 3 or more 2 +1, 0, or -1 -2 - 3 or less
This is a very good reason why it is better not to upgrade your Townhall till all the other upgrades are done.

Feel free to start booting people at your discretion. Many of them have had heaps of time to comply by now. I suggest you just start to kick one at a time, spread out while you are online, so people get the message. It is surprising how quickly they can suddenly find the forums and post once they see we are not kidding. Quite often once they actually do post and can see why we have asked them to do so, they realise the benefits that come from it.
At the moment we are facing a deluge of new recruits in Icebears. We will begin a similar process once Corugi gets on line and closes the clan.

Today has been an awesome Viking day overall.
We kicked 5 members for non-compliance. We opened up the clan for all and now are up to 46 members. Yes. Really. We will be weeding out members who don't comply with the clan rules later this week.

Thanks for the update Karthi. Looks like there will be a lot of base redesign with the new wallbreakers. They should come up with new anti-wallbreaker defenses now. If you watch the video it looks like a dozen wallbreakers could sweep through your whole base in a few waves.
I'd like to see flamethrower turrets, and perhaps hidden pits of doom... Or cliffs for that matter! And spikes, lots of spikes.

It is my recommendation that all of them be kicked. They have had plenty of time and they have been told more than once. At the discretion of the Leader, Karthi, they may be given the opportunity to move to Cavebears, either in chat if they are active, or in their kick-out notice (which they should then be able to read inside their in-game mailbox)
2) With respect to Aoefan, Tintin Klamar and Leibniz77, these are ex members of Cavebears, and as such I suggest every possible opportunity be given to them to either post on this thread, or to move back to Cavebears if they feel they can now meet the donation requirements.

I reccomend these players be granted another week to post, unless seen in chat and told to post before then. If they are told in chat then we would expect them to post within a day or two.
4) There have been two cases in Icebears where I have been convinced that the person has made a genuine effort to post, but for unknown reasons, is unable to. Perhaps some issue with their email account. In that case I have said that if they are unable to post by the end of the week they may move into Cavebears (which as you know has no posting requirement). These are people who have been very active and responsive in chat, have donated well, and in my opinion would make excellent Cavebear members.
5) I recommend that Matchstickx be promoted to elder.
As always these Guardian recommendations are subject to the discretion of the Leader.

I am in Riverbears now. I have asked a few members what happened. It appears you joined then left of your own accord. We have a rule that no one leaves our clan without first telling us. Once a person leaves without telling us they are no longer welcome back into the clan. I have complete trust in the discretion and integrity of our Elders. They would not kick or reject anyone unless there was a solid reason.Quote:

I am attempting to find out what has happened.
If there was a genuine reason why you were kicked then I will stand by the Elder's decision. It may have been that you did not read our clan rules properly and failed to answer a key question that we ask new recruits. If that is the case then you will not be allowed back into the clan.
If there was a misunderstanding, then you will be accepted into the clan, however you will still be expected to answer some questions about our rules. If you can not answer them correctly then you have not read our rules, and you will be kicked again.

Yahung has shown great patience and understanding in his attempts to join our clan. Such persistence shows strength of character. Our elders have acted correctly according to the rules of our clan, which shows integrity and reliability.
It may well be that a misunderstanding over the word "worship" was at the root of the problem.
I feel we have reached a fair and reasonable agreement here.

Here are the new troops costing DE. In case these are like regular troops, people are going to hide DE like they do elixir. So, get BK before the update. The release date has not been published yet. However, there is speculation that the troops themselves will cost regular elixir, but their barracks or their upgrades might cost DE. We will never know. And....get this - the 'hog rider' can jump walls.
