Queen and King's AI
I have encountered these two problems several times, they appeared again in the recent clan war so I need some clarifications or where I may misunderstand the game mechanics.
Attachment 212488
In the attached screenshot, the queen choose to hit the wall for the wiz tower instead of going for the EA or sweeper when she can clearly reach it (this is after the update, queen can reach EA 3 tiles away from wall). Why is that? How does queen AI work exactly?
Attachment 212489
In this one, the enemy king's altar is clearly at the bottom, however the enemy king chases hogs all the way to the top, far outside his supposed radius, why is that? I've seen king chases a bit far but this one is a bit ridiculous.
Attachment 212490Attachment 212491
In this one, after finishing off that archer tower, why did queen goes for the other archer tower instead of AD when clearly AD is closer? Again how does Queen's AI work?
These questions bother me a lot, can someone helps to clarify, thanks in advance.

I've moved your thread to Tactics in Strategy, since you're asking about the mechanics of the game and you haven't found a bug.
Pic 1 is covered under the Rule of 3. Each time a troop makes a target selection, it sees just the three nearest targets and it makes its selection from that. Pic 1 doesn't show us where the Archer Queen was when she destroyed her prior target, so there's no way of determining which was the closest to her at the time, but from the end results, it obviously wasn't the EAGLE.
For pic 2, you're mistaken in your understanding of hero altars. Heroes are not required to stay by their altars and never have been. The "supposed radius" as you call it is its trigger radius - same as it is for any other defensive structure. If a troop enters this circle, the defense (in this case the Barbarian King) will lock onto that troop until it is dead. In the case of heroes, they will follow that troop until either is dead. Then if the hero survives, it will return to its altar until another troop enters its trigger radius. The Barbarian King has a movement speed of 16. The hog rider has a movement speed of 24. Is it any wonder that the Barbarian King is futilely chasing a hog rider around the map, unable to catch it or kill it?
For pic 3 and 4, you also need to understand that the AQ has a range of 5 tiles. There is a chasm of 5 tiles between the AQ and the air defense (two tiles of walls and 3 tiles of the archer tower), so she could never reach the air defense 6 tiles away; that's why she hit the geared up archer tower that was 1 tile nearer.
