Is it really worth maxing your base before going up, I am a th8 one month away from maxing my base, but should i just move up now, what are the advantages.... My barracks are at golem and pekka, I have lvl 4 hogs, my wiz and mortar are maxed. are cannons, teslas, air def and archer towers really worth maxing..... Please get back to me...

Well it's always better to max because of course you're base will be stronger but at the same time it will offer more protection and also less to upgrade at Th 9.

The disadvantages are loot penalty (attacking TH7s won't be profitable any more, generally speaking) and getting picked on far more often by TH10s, I probably don't need to go over the pros. I'd say max the ♥♥♥♥ out of with while you still can.

I'd say max everything, including walls. Seems as though you still have quite a few things to go. You'll need them when you move up to th9 as you'll become very attractive to the high level farmers. Also make sure you have full storages and enough de for your queen when you do upgrade ur th.

Just gone through it myself and I'm glad I managed to do those things.

Imho if you play more then 3 hours per day, you dont need to max your base at th8.
At th9 ull get almost same amount of loots from collectors and more from storages. All you ll need is to raise your cups alittle.

But if u play not alot, or with big pauses i guess you better max it out

You make it sound as if the fact that you become more attractive to TH10s is not a big issue. I find that the biggest problem right now, having my base disintegrated by TH10s, who might actually have loot worth revenging for, but they usually also come with near-maxed or maxed bases.

If you're getting ravaged by th10s then you're in the wrong trophy range, move down until you're stronger.

Just think about it. If you go up now, it'll just be a bunch of negatives that come along with TH9 and an additional month to max out your TH8 ♥♥♥♥.
