Boosting barracks? GOOD or BAD?

So, today you are going to read my thread of me rambling about the new boosting of barracks and elixir collectors. Think about it, elixir for training troops, and barracks boosting for attacking more. While many players may say this is a good thing, you will notice being attacked by more dragons/P.E.K.K.A.S./Healers/Golems. The past day, I have been attacked 3 times by all dragons alone. However, I have raided 3 people in under 12 minutes and have reaped the rewards of 600k gold & 400k elixir. What is your opinion? Is the barracks/elixir collectors boosting GOOD or BAD. If you comment good/bad please comment why. I take everything with a positive attitude, and I'll gladly take it.

Good because I raid more than I get attacked.

Barch is taking a whooping 4 min and ballonion is a whole 10;) gowiwi is about 30 or so give or take. Mass drags takes 22.5 min!

I love boosts, but there is a supply vs demand issue here.

Boosted Rax significantly increases demand. Only one of the 3 resources has additional supply to compete.

Bad, who cares if you can make an awesome army in 1/4th the time if you still spend 10+ mins and 50-100k looking for a decent raid.

it was already to the point where I'd return to camps full with my farming army after most raids. Maybe I'll try going up to crystal idk.

I don't care, all that matters to me is that barch is gonna get me up to crystal this time...

i personally don't like this too much, too much demandandnot enough supply, as daz said

I think it's good. If you boost your barracks, there would be no need for you to get off and risk getting attacked. Your troops train much faster, so you can get back to raiding within no time.

of course it's always good to be able to attack more often even with the bad loots coming around, i just attack every base with 100k (this wouldn't be very hard to find) and attack every 5 min.. BAM FTW!! :cool:

Yep, I don't think anyone at SuperCell HQ learnt economics at school...

I think it is a great christmas presents from supercell 😎. This weekend I have a long 4 hour drive to visit family so Ill be sure to boost and get some lvl9 walls done.

Very very bad, i don't have much time to spare to play COC, so i can't sit for 45 minutes staring at my iPad just to raid.
at the same time, there are more people raiding me because of the boost discount.

Dude, i use balloonion. You walk around and do ''productive stuff'' while its ready.

The boost definitely works in favor of anyone trying to farm for lvl8+ walls

the shields are not boosted so get your townhall outside

I absolutely love it have raid like 16 times today even though I was at a mates house I was able to raid a lot I love you SC.

Balloons and drags, I guess there is no common term for it. Still takes 38 minutes but not bad.

Appreciating feedback, any more?

how do you compare ballgon to loonion? I am using loonion right now, but maybe i should switch given the boost? is ballgon less popular simply because of the time?

If so, what's your composition? inquiring mind want to... ya da ya da ya da.

Good: if searching for a good raid takes only about 5 nexts.
Bad:when searching takes about 20 mins and you only get 300k total

I was able to raid like about as soon as I returned to my village with my normal comp. At this time I don't have the upgrades for a big hitter but in a few days Balloons will be raiding death from above with this boost.




I am just glad it didn't come with a spell boost. Attacking would be far too easy than. I may attack nearly 4 times as often, but 3 out of 4 of those raids I have to do without the benefits of spells. So I can't hit with my full force.



However, it seemed to revive the hog nonsense. So I make a crack at an anti-hog base this morning. Still in testing as the first attack on it was someone who overestimated what was in my collectors and pumps


EDIT: ^ I concur with the bad on the above post. I can spend 5-8 or so minutes just searching for a target. Which makes me feel like I waste allot of the boost

this is great except for it only lasts for 45m. lets say you play nonstop a day(forget about 8 hr break). ur TH10 boost DB, barracks, and elix collectors. that's 199 gems per day. now if we go into reality, saying only boosting all 4 normal barracks for 3 hrs, that's 16 gems in 3 hrs. which may be a little, but if it takes about 5 days to get those gems and theyre blown off every 3 hrs for 2 weeks, that's using up gems pretty quickly...
