Barrack Boost Good or Bad?

So last night i used the 1 gem boost for my barracks thinking i'd be able to make a bit of a profit on gold with the fast training times. My first 3 raids were sweet and i made at least 200k each time, and then after about half an hour the only amount i could find would 50k-70k on each base? i was still at the same trophy range as before (1600ish), so im thinking that possibly alot of other users were on at the same time taking advantage of the boost? meaning all of the good bases to raid were harder to find becuase they were all farmed? i have no idea if what im saying is true, but that could be a down side to the cheap barrack boosts?

I feel that the barracks boost is very good. It allows you to raid with a strong army like balloonion every 10 minutes, meaning you can beat the very hard bases, which are not always taken immediately.

It's terrible on day one, it caused mass amounts of people to waste gems on the barracks and now all the good gold bases are back to where they were right after the update. Wish they would just leave things alone, we dont need any more of these tweaks that don't work.

Sigh.
The barracks boost cannot be bad! You just need to raid the harder bases instead of only raiding the bases with all of the loot on silver platters. Just use the boost to raid many times with balloonion or giant healer and go for th10s.

sorry but your wrong, have to search even more now.

It's awesome, i'm just farmed for 1h 30m w/ boosts and I did a ton of walls.

diasagree, it sucks, barely able to get 1/2 mil gold in 1/2 hou using barrack boost, doesnt even pay for half of a million dollar wall, hoefully it will get better unless all the gold is spent quickly

Logic would dictate that the boost will result in some people getting much better loot (i.e. faster), which in return will mean that others might find it a little harder (i.e. someone else got there first). Simple really, each of us just needs to work out how best to get on the winning end of things...
