Purpose of new event

Personally, this event is useless. But to me it looks like an experiment SC is doing. They are probably trying to see what will happen if they introduce another level of collector, what will happen to the economy. Easy way to test this is giving bonus elixir (since theres less impact of introducing huge elixir input than gold input to the system), give everyone quick raid (1 gem barrack boost), speed up everything and just see how double elixir would go.


Just want to think a bit about what this new event is here for...

It's not useless at all. Now I can raid much faster and have the elixer to pay for the troops.

I've never used the barracks boost before. With the 1 gem boost and extra elix, I will try it out.

If it works, I might use it later on to finish upgrades.

I always found that 45 minutes was too short. I'll see how many attacks I can launch during that time

Boosted barracks when cup hunting helps a TON. And of course you need extra elixir while boosting barracks to make troops and speed up your spells. Makes perfect sense that SC is encouraging attacking more for both farmers and cup hunters (this way we can move loot around...)

Needs a gold boost now!

Used buust twice now when farming and the time is actually perfect. Any longer and would really be clued to the tablet and start to make more silly raidmistakes with rushing.

It increases level of activity and raids. I just got 900k in 13mins.

I've always considered troop boosts to be the only thing worth spending money on (really, you expect me to pay for an "improved" virtual village?), so this is my favorite update. Now, if only spells were included....
