So confused/frustrated

Let's be honest here, the last fix was not thought out to much by Supercell. He has a valid point here, I am a TH9 lvl 87 and I currently have 4.5 mil gold in my storage. I find it very very hard now to make it past 5M due to the ability of lvl 100 plus farmers smashing my base apart. Right now im trying to save to upgrade my Wiz to lvl 7. I have one completed and close to starting my second. I was wacked by one guy for 350k gold this morning, the best base I have seen is 220k gold today. I am not a hardcore farmer so it takes me time to build up my gold supply. This last patch is a terrible idea, because it punishes those of us who farm lightly throughout a day. People should be upset about this latest patch. I am really suprised at the lack of critical thinking by Supercell on this. What did you think would happen when you remove penalties on high lvl TH's from attacking lower TH's?
Let it me put it this way.... I can only view one base at a time, meaning it takes some luck to find a nice base. My base is being view rapidly by many different people. Leaving me more exposed and less likely to recoup losses.

I should state my issue is not with being raided, that's fine! All the power to the people who can break through and loot my base.

My issue is that, 1m resources is quite low and I am shocked that I have such a hard time finding other bases with 200k that I can loot.

My fault for not making that more obvious.

Everyones base is being viewed rapidly not just yours.so its not as though the odds are stacked against just you

Agreed. you'd think there'd be more chances in getting matched against someone who has more than 40k gold and elixir each. They said it would get better, but obviously it has not, hence the new elixir pump boost.

I too find it very hard to understand how so many in the CoC community can be living in what can only be described as complete and total poverty.

My TH9 always offers very close to the max available loot (not too many actually get it all), but I too see base after base come up in my search offering below 50k of each and a shocking number of bases offering less than 10k of each. For a TH 9 that means they must have less than 84k in their storage, how is that even possible?

The penalty is still in place. Just no bonus.

I'm in the same situation here. I had 4.5M saved up looking to upgrade my first wizard tower to level 7 and then the update happened, after that it went pear shaped. I got so many times that I couldn't even afford 10 archers!. after being raided each time I had to fork out to re-trap losing more gold. Then when I come to raid, I only see 40K bases which doesn't even cover my cost of troops. after a few days I was down to nothing.

Walls. Expensive armies. Banking resources in their barracks.

One of us is being ignorant. To believe that th8-10 are consistantly running with less than 100k resources in their storages, really?

I guess that could be possible, but I would believe that is highly unlikely.
