Should i get level 9 walls?

Not at all. Walls could mean the difference between getting 1 star or 3 stars. The difference between losing 1 storage or all storages... Against ground troops that is.... They really slow their progress once all wall breakers are expelled.

I'd go for lvl 9 walls, there is a huge HP increase from 8 to 9, definitely worth it in my opinion.

I think so (it is just intimidation) The value diminishes after lvl 7.

I understand this, but you can't solely go by that chart because it's only reflecting 1 troop. Ever watch your precious AQ get hung upsomewhere in the base because she's too busy trying to bash through walls? Yeah, priceless to the defender.

I get that it is simplistic, but I have to wonder if the 112.5M gold (and the inordinate amount of time) to go from 7 to 8 is worth it.

Yes, I realize the levels, but saying "I am stopping at Lvl 7 and only doing lvl 8 at TH10" would include all higher levels, including level 9.

Didn't think of wall breakers though. Usually worry about people beating down the walls and lvl 7 seems to take them long enough.

Personally, once my towers are maxed, I am going to TH10. Grinding walls is a great way to lose interest in the game, IMO.

Yeap, you should, if you are addicted enough, you can even go for lava walls.
IMO , lvl9 walls are sexier than skull. But lava walls are the sexiest, because zap walls are kinda weird.

At some point a well designed base will have walls that have to be smashed through, Then there's a big difference. Plus some ppl (like me) farm with Giant Archer barb and lvl8+ Walls make a big difference.

This thread is full of people trying to convince themselves that walls dont matter after level 7 lololol

It's not just about WBs. Unless it's a wide-open base, once the outer walls are breached, the troops usually need to chew through the inner walls. Higher level walls means more time for your defense to mow down the troops.

That said, level 9 walls are more of a nice-to-have. If you don't have the patience to farm for them, as long as your defense is strong you'll do fine. Balloons/drags/hogs/jump spells negate walls anyway.
