Take into account of the searching times. Say you're searching for 5 minutes, then having a a full army waiting for you during 2 of those 5 minutes, plus raid time, make BAM inefficient imo. You might as well make a more versatile army, (which you probably wouldn't use in normal circumstances because of the longer training time), and actually take advantage of the "boost".
I will giant healer with no wizards, this allows me to penetrate more. BAG and BAM do not do so well with that, but I may end up using BAM anyway:)
BAM, no question. Raid constantly.
I'll be using barch because I am saving DE and don't want to use 2 extra gems.
