The point is how much more loot it puts into the game. The best time ever for raiding was during the birthday boost period when most people had their mines boosted...

Whats the point in boosting barracks without spell factory? And prity pointless boosting elixir for alot of higher leveled players, why not include gold and de? Just get more complaints now instead of thanks lol
