TH10 observation of being attacked

I have been sitting on 7 to now 8 million gold, and 6 to 7mil elixir for the past few days, and I have not even been attacked once. I am a new TH10, sitting at the 1600-1700 cup range.

When the update first came out, I was attacked 4-5 times within the first 12 hours, so things has change quite a bit. Maybe people are adapting and opting to attack TH9s and below instead of attempting to attack a TH10 base with 400k/400k of each resource.

Yes, I know if I want to be attacked, I just have to move up my trophy level. However, I need resources at the moment to update my new TH10, so I am perfectly fine with not being attacked. I do feel bad for the TH9s that I attack, but I am sure they are benefiting greatly from the TH8s they are now attacking.

Th7 and Th8s use to be the best THs to gain massive amounts of loot, I guess with this update, we are now experiencing a trickle up effect.

As a TH10, I can't complain about this update. Everything it seems has benefited us. Loot is no where near what it was at TH9, TH8 or TH7, but it is much improved pre-update, which I assume was what SC intended. Is this update fair for TH9s and below? It may not be, but I guess they will just have to either adapt or quit the game. The new players coming up from TH6s will have never experience the easy loot pre-update, so they will basically not know the difference.
