How to get DE while pushing?

Alright so I'm a TH7 looking for dark elixir.
Dark Elixir is really hard for me since I just got my barb king and I had to grind it out of the 7 1/2 k dark elixir I saved and the rest gems. Now I gotta do it over again with my barb king at 12,500 dark elixir and 10,000 dark elixir for my minion upgrade and who knows how much for hogs. This may sound nooby but I am a sliver 1, currently regaining trophies from farming, aiming for 1,850 cups at least ( my clan is pushing but I would normally be farming the entire time of TH7 ). I'm not that good at the game, mind you.

I will not lightning dark elixir, I'm a saint :)

Any tips? Trophy levels? Anything?

uh...attack the dark elixir storage? build a full out army composition every hour and attack and aim for the storage?

What is this rocket science?

I'm not THAT active... like average 20-25 mins a day...
Plus I don't find any good DE that isn't a mature TH9 or TH10...

Well if you aren't active and only play 20 minutes a day do you expect Dark Elixir to magically end up in your storage?

To answer your question, a lot of mediocre TH8's in the gold league have DE as well. You can get about 100 to 500 DE per raid.

Personally, I wouldn't worry about the DE too much. I upgraded my BK to lvl 2, and my Minions to level 2 before going to TH8 and that was it. When you get to TH8, max the drill immediately. In the meantime, keep an eye on your available revenge targets, then cook a full dragon / minion army overnight and rage them onto the DE storage. That's what I did. I certainly didn't get the most DE of any TH7, but I used minions whenever I wanted and never had to agonize over DE.

Or just get like 10 WBs and rest gobs and break through to storages (Base should be premature or kinda close)

At th8 I have no need for elixir for a while so I decided to go and try to get 30k de for my lvl 4 minions and now I'm going for lvl 6 BK. I use 8 drags and 10 wiz with 2 rage and 1 heal... I have 2 maxed elixir storages btw same as th7. Using this army comp it allowed me to attack th9's with 1k+ de. I had maybe 5-7k de before I started and less than a week later my minions are upgrading to lvl 4

Why wont you lightning storages? It is a legitimate way to get dark elixir. It is sneaky and unfair, yes i understand. I get lightninged all the time, but then again, i get 3 starred by hogs all the time because they are OP yet i dont refuse to use them. Farmers use the town hall to their advantage by purposely losing defenses to get a free shield. If there is a part of the game that is unfair or if you see a loophole, remember that YOU have the power to do it too. Lightning storages is unfair and mean, but it is a good way to get it.

Another way to get dark elixir really quick is to jump up to gold 2 or 1 and raid like nobody's business. One of my friends got his barb king in 2 days by doing that, he was town hall 7 too. Try that out, you could always go up to crystal and just snipe town halls or try and get 50% for the 50 dark elixir per win. (That is a little time consuming though)
