DE raids with lightning spells

I don't remember the last time lightning hit my DE store (except once or twice when my CC troops were nearby), I beleive it was somewhere when I was TH8, so a couple of months ago maybe? I've been to Masters 2, down to Crystal 3, and most recently hanging around 2300-2400 for a few weeks with my TH9. Maybe it's 'cause I maxed out my DE store early on as TH9? My TH is sometimes exposed for sniping? I'm lucky?

Personally I'd rather hit a full maxed out DE drill with lightning, the return on that tends to be much higher, although I only do that sometimes on a de farming raid that didn't quite work out 100%...

Just a reminder, someone who is capable of dropping 4 spells on you must be TH9 or 10, who should have had DE storage for a long time and there is no reason why such a palyer will have difficulty acquiring DE.

It used to be that only th8s and th7s do that in lower trophy ranges (<1700).

But now th10s are doing it in crystal leagues.

I have said it before and I'll say it again, a possible solution for this is a forcefield mechanic, which can be bought like traps. It serves as a field over a small areas, that reduces damage from lightning spell, or whatever spell there is.

This update has made DE on lightning storage's far too profitable. Players are losing around 2k DE to 5 bolts. 2k DE? That is absurd to get that much loot without a single troop.

A TH10 Zapping DE that's wrong on so many levels.

I got lightened by TH10s and 9s as well when i was in crystal.. Why not? 3k DE for 5 hits. Easy earning.
