Balloons and Minions work with th8.You can do a th 8 gowipe, wont go very far but can win if done right and you can do 4 healers and rest wizards. That also wins
Mass dragons could get you pretty high. If you can wait (or gem) the hours of training time.
... or you could snipe TH, using archers with some giants and minions maybe a dragon, as backup for trapped TH. You could also use an arher-heavy army to get 50% on some bases, too.
Any of the above options could get you to Masters, if you are persistent, but you have to be very patient in picking the right kinds of bases to attack for your chosen army.
