Whats a good de army that takes 30 minutes or less? I have 220 army space, lvl 4 spell factory and a lvl 5 cc. I'm farming around 1800.

Try out giant based armies, they seem to work well. I hear barch also warrants good results of 4.8 k de per hour.

A good army set up for me when DE farming would be bombers, giants healers, wizards and a few archers with rage sand heal spell. balloonion can work but It will eat some DE , but you can make that back up. You can use giant healer, BAM. or Giant wiz strategy, now that spells are elixir, don't be afraid to cook up a few rages and a heal or lightning for CC troops and you can pull some nice amounts targeting deep storages.

I was like you and tried to stick to armies that took less than 30 mins but good cc troops or bad luck could mean they would completely fail some times. I have now accepted the game has changed and now stick to an army that takes 1 hour but is a guaranteed win unless you end up with very bad luck. I have used this army over the weekend at least 15 times and my smallest raid was 250k gold 300k elixer and 800 DE with a most in the 300k range and a few over 400k gold and elixer.
TLDR: Quick farm armies are no longer the best option, they may work for gold and elixer but doubt you will have much luck with DE
I would say around around 12-16 giants, 12-16 wallbreakers, 2 healers, minimum 4 wizards and rest archers/barbs/goblins and also CC full of wizzies or dragon. Also 1 rage.
I think this was Unity Sharp's strategy, but it kinda works still even tho it says "outdated" on his thread.

Using 20 Balloons and 60 Minions currently with more Minions in the CC. Works wonders for me.
2 healers, 12 giants, 8 wall breakers, 28 archers, 24 barbarians, 24 goblins. Works like a charm :).
30 minute training time and a bit of an overkill on some bases, but it helps boost your success rate to around 80% :)
Don't use fancy army's for DE. It's a waste of time and resources. Just use BAM at around 1600 trophys. Load up all of your barracks and look for full pumps and poorly protected DE storages and skip the well designed bases with their DE in the middle. So many people put their DE behind only one wall it's not hard to get. You can get 4-6k per hour (after the cost of minions) with this method.
its boring but it's ridiculously effective.
DE farming died with the loot change. Focus on gold with your most efficient army and the DE will slowly trickle in. Gone are the days where you could keep both heroes upgrading simultaneously. :(

Please ppl, just listen to me, all of your methods are too slow. 50 minions? Are you kidding me? You are going to use 500 DE every time you try to raid? Even if you fail once that will ruin you. It's all about DE per hour, not per attack. And DE is still available after the update. If you are planning to try to break into the core of a good base you will have to use at least 2 spells. That puts your army at an hour at best. The only way to get DE fast is to BAM pumps and poorly protected storages. Take a look at this. 3379 DE in 19 minutes.

Not being rude but half the suggestions here are just dumb.
I'll break it down for you a bit and give you 3 armies with high success rates.
Trophies 1600-1800
10 Giants/6-8 wallies/30 barbs/fill with arch/25gobs/10-5 minions/ CC WIZARDS = 20ish mintues
Can crack most bases, allows for drill sniping, 4-6K De per hour.
Trophies 1800-2100
Unity sharps army (read the thread) if u subtract the 4 wiz he uses and replace it with arch the training time is cut to around 22-23mins I think.
This army can crack very strong town hall 9/10s but lacks much infantry to snipe drills, makes me about 5-6K consistently even with fails. 8/10 success rate.
Trophies 2600-3000
16 balloons rest minions request cc dragon or more balloons.
Boosting spells is reccommended for guaranteed wins so you get Loot bonus.
This army is very good to use and hardly ever fails probably 19/20 raids.
you can make 5K consistenly almost guranteed with this army.
Your choice :)
Keep in mind these are armies I've personally have used and have had success/fails with
5 lightnings. Let the bolting begin

use one rage and maybe add one heal if very strong base :D
If u want to boost spell factory, lightning can be good, make barch with wall breakers, should take around 20 minutes or so, you can take easy storages for around 1000 a raid, de lightning every 30 minutes for 1.5k, that's 5k an hour

No need for spell boost. No need to stay online in between raids. Find your army ratio. Find your comfortable cup range. No de army cost.
