Sometimes just being in Masters in global is all you need to do to get the 24 hour ban. It's happened to me and many others for absolutely no reason other than not letting a newish player join your clan. No matter how polite you are, just being in global at times is enough to get banned. Now I won't even speak in global unless players crystal or above are chatting.
They should get rid of the report button all together now that there is a mute button. But that's just my opinion
You're missing the point. The report button is meant for those who are feeling offended by what others are saying to them or to everyone in global, the mute button solves the exact same problem but cannot be abused. Whether people decide to use it or not is meaningless.Quote:

It's very frustrating to see that the main argument against removing the report feature is that "If you mute someone yes it solves your problem, but they will continue to abuse others." With the mute button being there, EVERYONE has the power to pick and choose what stuff they want to and don't want to see. Obviously if there's a troll in global, those offended by him will mute him. Problem solved, he's not annoying anyone anymore, because those bothered by him muted him! I honestly don't see the problem here... By removing Report, you get rid of the immature ten year olds who can't stand that you have a better clan, base, etc than them. But you also keep the troll combating power of Report by having mute, as anyone offended by something can simply mute the offensive person.
That younger person will see the offensive language either way. If the person has been banned, his previous posts remain in chat until they are pushed down off the screen. If that person hasnt been banned, the younger person has the option to tap mute.Quote:
