Battle related - Defensive Victory Bonus
When you gain a defensive victory of 0 stars you receive gold/elixir.
- Defensive village layouts will be encouraged and rewarded.
- Trophy deflation will be discouraged.
- Players will attack at their intended trophy level.
- Players will be encouraged to remain shieldless to gain additional loot while offline. This will increase the amount of matchmaking.
- Superior defensive setups who win multiple battles while offline have the chance to fill storages yet at the same time give attackers a greater incentive to attack what may have been lesser filled storages when the defender first logged off.
- Defender may never get to use what they gained but overall will increase matchmaking incentive and defensive setup.
Suggestion:
Successful defense should give bonus equal to successful attack bonus. This can follow the same table as victories found here:

Optional addition:
x amount of raided loot is returned to defender
Example:
Attacker uses goblins to raid 100,000 get's 0 stars and destroys 15%.
Defender is awarded defensive bonuses based on league level 21,000 for Crystal III 50 DE.
Optional
Defender is returned loot equal to 100,000(raided loot)x(50%(required amount destroyed for 1 star)-15%(amount actually destroyed) in this case that would be 100,000x.35 or 35,000 of the 100,000 returned.
End Result:
Attacker loses trophies
Defender gains trophies
Attacker gains 65,000 loot
Defender maintains 35,000 loot
Defender receives defensive bonus according to existing offensive bonus table
