How does elixir get inside elixir storages?

I believe elixir is a liquid, hence it cannot be eaten.

It's clash of clans, clash logic applies to everything like how it takes 2 weeks to change the colour of an xbow from gold to black with some added extra spikes or how a builder upgrades a dark elixer storage by hitting the glass with a freaking hammer.

Maybe, the glass has magical properties which only allows elixir in and out ofmthe storage...

Worms - they live burrowed beneath the collectors and daily tunnel their way to storage facilities - they absolutely hate it when we move storages around our base, as they have to build new tunnels
