we seriously need to communicate better in this game

clans should have better means of communication. checking the clan chat and scrolling down is getting annoying. besides that, you cant even see much because all the comments drop out once the chat goes over a hundred so you aren't very informed of everything. i think each clan should have a page to announce news and they should be able to post ideas and questions such as we do here. we should also be able to privately message each other or message other people on global so we can stay in touch and invite them. this is a great game with lots of people playing,i think its time we communicated better :)

I like the idea, only part I don't like is been able to private message people on global, they should be an option to private message Game Center friends who aren't in the clan but private messaging people on global may be a bad idea. Too many immature childish players in global who will probably start spamming or sending abuse to other players.

that would mean that there will be a forum for each clan in game. trust me when i say this will never happen.
i do agree on the fact that there should be a better way of communicating in the clan.
if you want a forum theres a very easy solution. make one and give everything the link. not hard at all

If they go to the trouble of adding PMs, they could just as easily add "mute".

And also we need a "ban" feature for clan elders :)

+1 for this idea as getting to talk to people is hard you should be able to pm people in your clan as 2 different people are not always on yet they may want to talk

I agree a big part of online games is just communication and this game need a BIG Auppgrade on it.

Wisper is very important both in Clan Chat and in Global. Should be able to configure to turn off in settings if u don't want. World of Warcraft does this and it's an invaluable tool in communicating and playing the game.

Definitely. It is ridiculous having a gamecentre feature so obviously available yet impossible to contact players directly. I don't want a direct message from random player to player, it invites grief every time you attack someone. But to be able to chat with friends on gamecentre? No brainer.

have you guys ever played kabbam games like the hobbit: kingdoms of middle-earth? they have a global and alliance chat. on their chat, players can whisper to each other and send messages to each other. this feature would be outstanding for us.

Instead of a forum a "news board" so clan leaders can put important info up with a max number of posts reducing the resources needed, and no to a global pm but yes to Game Centre as long as it was made possible to add other players as friends from the game (if possible) or maybe just have in game friends as well as friends imported from game centre. Am I making sense or talking jibberish?

- They should change something. My concern is that maybe SC wants to make money off the gems for clan mail.
- But at the least maybe if the leader has something important to say in chat it stays on regardless of the 100 comments.
- Or it could be highlighted by leader as important.

Lol, the thread is still relevant though. I think cos should be able to sticky messages at the top of chat AND have a separate chat for donations.

If the OP had started a new thread, someone would have complained that there are already posts on this subject and to do a search to find them. This is definitely still a relevant topic and I agree with the OP that it would be great to have improved in-game communication.
