Is it normal that I keep being attacked by the same user?

This might be a noob question, or not but as the post title is pretty self explanatory, is it normal or expected?

Details:

In 24 hours, the same user has attacked me twice, I used the "revenge" option the first time & waiting to build more troops to use "revenge" for the second time.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not being a cry baby, but find it surprising that the same user has been able to find me and attack me twice in the same day. Thought the matches were more random given the number of players etc...

Could it be a hack or a cheat of some sort? Screenshot attached.

Feedback appreciated.

I've been attacked by someone with half my trophies and half my level twice (a few days apart). It's been quite amusing. He gives it the beans, costs him a fortune but he leaves empty handed. I've had to flatten him twice now, hopefully he still hasn't learned - it's fun.

It's not common, but not unheard of either. I've had the same guy on the same screen I think twice. One of those times, same guy within 20 minutes. He didn't learn his lesson either time. One clan mate had a person 3 times in a row.

Within certain trophy ranges, you tend to start seeing the same names over and over. With that range of levels on your report, my guess is either you, or he has dropped trophies to farm, and if I were him, getting that amount of resources off of you, I'd hit you as much as possible as well.

They do allow the same name multiple times - and that name is in two different clans, so check each report's base, may actually be two different people, however unlikely that is.

You used to be able to do that, but you can't revenge a revenge any longer.

We're almost of the same level & it isn't really fun to keep losing resources: takes too long to gather, everything at this point is expensive and looting isn't what it used to be after the upgrade :)

Thanks. Actually, that was the first thing that came to my mind, but when I checked the first attacker profile, it showed the same as the second's which means he has switched clans...

Regarding the levels, I indeed had dropped trophies before the update to loot and farm. Now that the situation has changed (after that update), I'm working on getting my trophies back and leveling up again, currently level 51...

Yes, it is a common thing. As long as that player did not go over 40% damage mark to your base or he lost to you, he can attack you as many times as he can if matchmaking pick you again. I have personaly attack the same person 3 times in a single day.

I don't think the 40% damage mark bit is correct: the first time, he destroyed 74% and earlier it was a 53% damage...

This is something that is puzzling me as well. A friend of mine got attacked by the same player more than 20 times in a single day. The player had a much higher lvl and though my friend could retaliate, he couldn't read the players name in order to report him to anyone, which is what I immediately suggested. I keep hearing that CoC is unhackable, but I am starting to have my doubts :/

This isn't normal!!!

This is definitely not normal!!! 4 times that he's attacked me already. If it isn't some sort of hack then there's clearly a bug with the "revenge" feature whereby he uses "revenge" after my "revenge"...

Also noticed that in 3 days, he has changed clans 3 times!

Is there a ♥♥♥♥♥ that bypasses shields?

This one user named joe50 attacked me 10-20 times in one night and stole roughly 300 trophies, and then a user named joe51 attacked me about 30 times and I got 600 trophies, and then joe50 attacked a bunch more times and stole 300 trophies. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?
