We're giving it all we got we climbed from gold 3 to Crystal 2 we always go all out. .At Men Of STandard that's what we do. Right now we're fighting to stay in against teams beating us only because we are severely out matched. Severely. But in fairness I did tell my team as we won are first to leagues it's gonna get tougher. That's fine :) Unfair... That's not fine. And should not be with anyone. And I'm not talking unfair. I'm talking UNFAIR TH12S VS TH10S stuff. But again every turn taken even though we may lose all 7. Cause that's what we do. Appreciate your comments though 👍

It favors progression if rushing makes it hard for you to gain loot and continue to progress then no but yes it insentvisss moving to the next tier and not sitting at any th level maxed. It’s great so glad to have a system with no matchmaking just purely about who has the best attacks and bases. If your a maxed th8 you should go to th9 for sure. I would max your offenses at any given tier then move on it’s how the game was alway meant to be played.

That is the point, though. Trying to push as high as you can without the crutch of a weight system to equal it out. Base progression is rewarded. You can do regular wars for weighted wars. If you are fighting clans with more base progression it means you likely are more skilled. Congrats. CWL isn't designed to have a clan of lower halls at the top of the mountain any more than legends league for a th4.

I got u where a non rushed team taking on super rushed teams at moment. Just trying to stay course but tough when my team's max th8 is playing against super rushed the,11s and that's no exaggeration ....

If you care more about CWL than regular wars, then it is a benefit to strategically rush ahead and make your offense and defense stronger. If you care more about regular wars then perhaps it isn't worth it and you are better off just staying as you are in CWL.

It's more like if TH12s could drop to Crystal 3 & still get 100% bonus from raiding TH9s & TH10s with GiBarch. I've already got hard evidence of a clan that's moving their heavy bases around from clan to clan in order to manipulate the system. I'm already thinking I need to do the same thing with my clan in order to avoid being taken advantage of. I doubt I'm the only one.

Clans with lower level THs will get disgusted & quit CWL. Clans that aren't playing the game of moving heavy bases around to game the system will quit CWL. SC should start considering a way to discourage it, otherwise this is like stupid offensive lopsiding all over again. It's toxic & bad for the game.

*Addendum: Seriously, anyone who doesn't recognize that the current CWL system can & will be manipulated the same way engineers were ruining war a couple years ago, is just naive.

Look - CW and CWL are two different beasts. What’s good for one may not be good for the other. Strategic rushing works fine in both so long as you keep your offense ahead; hyper-rushing works terribly for either. Strategic rushing does work out better in CWL than maxing though; the only time maxing is a good strategy for CWL is if your clan has strictly TH11/TH12 in the top 15-20. If it;s a well mixed clan (as most are) then strategic rushing is the best way to go.

Clans comprised of mostly lower level players will have to watch their promotions carefully to remain competitive. It will be a while before the system manages it naturally and until SC puts something in place to prevent tanking, Crystal and up will be particularly risky for clans with 2 or fewer TH12s (well developed TH12s). Tankers will start leaving Gold soon enough, and Gold/Silver/Bronze will become the domain of clans anchored by TH10s and TH9s. The same can be said for clans that are currently in a state of rapid progression. Until then, you just do your best, manage your stars, and call it a day.

Several folks have brought up the topic of tanking and manipulating placement in CWL. I’ve no doubt SC is monitoring it and contemplating how significant an issue it really is. Seeing several comments on the forums, though, doesn’t mean it’s an actual problem for the game. I doubt anything significant will be done until they have a solid 6 seasons of data to review.

And there is the problem I hear words like it favors progression. Sure that's fine so u keep progressing as u get your head beat in every cwl or u spend money to progress faster, or u rush ahead. Or finally u plain quit and and regular clan wars or just quit all together. I'm not being smart or rude here. It but I've heard it from those trying to take up from a flawed ( again I like it but lets tell the truth) system. So yeah it favors progression. If u can sit through getting your virtual video game teeth kicked in for a ton of wars. I think we can all progress just fine with fair match ups. Or shall I go recruit a ton of rushed TH12S for next league??? That's progress to I guess.

You either win or you don't. You know what the other problem is? Everyone thinks every single match up will be equal or that they are supposed to have a chance to win every war. That's not how it works. Compare it to sports, there's teams that are bad and teams that are good. You don't have the same odds every war.

I really do believe the root of the problem is everyone thinks their clan is better than they actually are.

Probably you are in a strong clan with many th12 and few th11 and you dont have the problems that people have. People understand how cwl works . The problem is that when mixed clan is facing medals farming th12 clan , the th8 9 and 10 have no chance for stars against maxed th12 with blue walls.They cant make stars, they don't make medals.... They were told that the leagues will sort by itself ...

Every town hall level drops trophies to go to leagues where there is inactive bases. So... I mean...

Regardless, it is what it is. Yeah there's loopholes. They can abuse it but it's not like you're going against 10 clans that do that each CWL right?

Look at the end of the day, you either get enough stars to promote or you dont.

Notice how everyone that complains about CWL is of a clan that thinks they deserve better? Everyone thinks they're better than they are. That simply isn't true.
