My contribution to all those awesome TH 9 farming bases out there

Hi Beerking, I like your base design seriously :) most importantly I like the way you handle those critics in here, you have to know you cannot please everyone and some much have terrible soft-skill and keeps condemning a person rather than giving valuable feedback.

Anyway, just a question, would it be useful if I place both your tesla outside in replacement of the 2 heroes?

Like the rest, I'm also quite uncomfortable having teslas outside especially it takes a long time to build them.
Would you recommend this?

My heroes are always asleep because I used them for attacks only so having them outside is logical, but can I move the tesla to replace them?

Yes that would be very useful if your heroes aren't defending anyways. My suggestion would be to move in 1 of the North and east placed mortars to the AQ spot and move the other mortar to the South box, keeping them triangulated and the lesser protected ones defended one side and the one in the core the other side. Just put the teslas in the free spots.

Not sure what you could do about the last tesla but if you're leaving one on the outside I would keep the South west one, it gets triggered every attack.

Great design! One of the best I've seen for a th9 :) If I'd still be th9 I'd test it out for sure, but I got my th10 a couple of days ago. Anyway, I checked your base out, see you are already full on into the th10! Really like your current th10 layout, I have a question. How much do people attack you for your elixir? I'm already upgrading my lab, so I can start those level 6 wbs and wizards (yey!), and I'll need that elixir. But as I was finishing my th9 I had my elixir on the most outer layer of my base, and very rarely got attacked for it. So yeah, I don't know if I should try to protect it all, or do as you did? I did make a layout for myself, waiting for my IT's to finish. Then I'll test it out, how is your working out until now? If mine doesn't work out as planed, would you be willing to let me borrow yours? Sorry for all the questions, it just seems like you know a thing or two about layouts, and you being a (sort of) new th10, I think I'll get some great advice. Thank you, means alot coming from a very experienced player :) Great job on that gold grab and awesome job on your friend in need!
People rarely attack just for the elixir, I've had one that took 200k, otherwise it's going for the core or TH snipers.
Most of the time the attackers are interested in my DE, shows 3k so can't blame them.
The base is holding up alright, I've had some rough attacks with hogs and high lvl heroes where they've gotten alot. I'm going to make a thread for my TH 10 design later when I can test it properly, having 3-4 important defences upgrading at the same time makes it alot weaker.

I like your TH 9 design, will be interesting to see your TH 10 :) and you are very welcome to try out my design if you want, makes me happy if I can help!

Thanks a lot man, and likewise! And what kind of trophy range suits you for farming purposes? I've found that I can't really go lower than 1600, so Gold II has been a sweet spot for me. Plenty of fresh th9s, with some abandoned basses mixed in there, with a little premmie 9s and 10s, so it's been pretty good. I've actually been playing around a little bit, bassicaly just turned my th9 layout into a th10. I can post a picture if you'd like to see. And would love to hear your opinion about it. I think I'll be setting it up in 5 days, when my second IT finishes. Anyway, thanks again for your help, I'll be waiting for your th10 thread :) Cheers!

I'm hoovering around 1800-2100 the gold fill up to fast for my builders with boosted barracks so I'm getting some DE aswell. Yeah post it when you got it set up :) Np man!

Sorry but do the giants really walk the path from the cannon to the arch tower?
Because IMO, i think the distance is a little too far for giants to be lured and they will just attack the walled AT that is nearer.
Like the moat though =]

That's an interesting question. I would have thought that too looking at it but I'm hoping that's not the case!

It's on the edge unfortuanately, have had a few attacks where they starts attacking the walls and some where they walk around and some where they split up in two, seemed to depend on the deployment. Can't really test it further to give a better answear, if anyone has tested it feel free to post your experiences! :)
