Official policy regarding gems pruchases

Hi,

I have two friends that were banned for 48hours, for illegal gems pruchases. Can you pease define what is considered an illegal gem purchases by Supercell?

I have looked on your site and on your forums and did not see any policy. Neither I remember accepting such a policy when creating my account or installing/updating the game.

These friends, so am i, have spent a subbstantial amount of money in this game for a over a year. We definately dont want to be banned as we have every intention on continuing playing this game.

It would be in the Terms of Service that you agreed to before you started playing. You can only get gems from the game.

I read Supercell SLA and still dont see a clear indication that purchases through websites is not authorized.

The functioning system of these websites is oretty simple. They use your game center id and password to login into the game from a device registered in a country where the currency valur is low and apple store prices adjusted accordingly. They purchase gems through the game like you would on your own, from this device with their own credit cards. Then thay charge you in USD and make a gain on exchange rate.

The policy states that you have to purchase through the game. Which is done. The policy advise not to giveaway your credentials and that you are respinsible for any actions done with your account, which is fine.

I agree that this whole thing sort a fall into a gray zone. But I still dont see this as acting acting against the rules, the way theyre written.

I would like to uave an official position from supercell and a change in the SLA that clearly states these transactions are not allowed of this is the case.

This would actually work as preventive measure to prevent well intended clashers not to use purchases through these websites. I believe it to be more fair then banning people that have not broken a rule that does not exists or is not clearly communicated.

I can assure you that if i get a clear position from supercell that i will communicate to my clan memebers and other fellow clashers not to use these websites.

dont know about supercell but i do know this is taxfraud and is more an applepolicy than supercells to begin with

When you download the game, you agree to the TOS and privacy policy. Did they purchase gems besides through the iTunes Store.

Also giving out your password isn't just unadvisable, it's against the ToS.

You shall not share the Account or the Login Information, nor let anyone else access your account or do anything else that might jeopardize the security of your Account.

It doesn't say "should not". It says "shall not".

Well that post is pretty clear. I will advise my clan mates. I personnaly was never too hot about these site in fear of getting my account ♥♥♥♥ed.
