be creative. In my opinion the global events are something of a dud. Lots of work for little return,5 diamond? A panel? Make it worthwhile :-)

I agree. I also think the awards should be the same for everyone (how is it fair if one person gets an ax and another gets a gold voucher for the same achievement level). And further, the awards should scale up, ie an ax or saw for the first level, 3 shovels second, a bolt or two for third, gold voucher for fourth, and a deco item that can only be bought with diamonds for fifth. Or maybe 1. LEM, 2. Mining tool, 3. SEM, 4. BEM, 5. Gold voucher. Anyway, scaling up in some way and consistent across the board, at least in terms of value.
As to what the event should be, maybe a pet feeding frenzy, so no one can do more than the max their farm can do...

Unlikely, but I hope the fishing event return soon. I was so not a fan of fishing, but that event was a huge fun for me personally. I don't know, too early too tell if there is a pattern, like one week a regular event like the truck orders, the next week a global one. If the next one will indeed be a global one I have no clue what it could be (fishing please, sc? hehe) or one like we had before...making/getting a big amount of one certain thing perpaps. :)

An event that gives double xp instead of double coin would be nice for a change.
Definitely more in favour of personal event goals. The world wide ones just don't merit enough return for the work you have to put in. Five diamonds is rubbish!

I do like the global events. I'm a higher level player so a lot of the individual player events aren't that interesting (e.g. I am not short of coins so the truck event didn't interest me). I enjoyed the community aspect of the global events. I do think the rewards should be the same for everyone and a bit more generous ( e.g. Gold vouchers rather than saws).

Too bad we can't fill Gregg's boat as an event. Where we have a choice of filling one or all three crates. The items and amount would be based on the player's level, of course. And from helping Gregg we would receive rewards like decorations or vouchers.
It's hard to decide what to stock up on.
I loved the double coin truck event it gave me enough money to upgrade my lobster pool and buy the soup kitchen! Anything with double money would be very appreciated for me especially as I now need to start saving for I think the candy machine is next for me to buy I'm not too sure. I do quite like the global event but I do agree with the comments on this thread that the rewards should be the same for everyone and reflect the effort so the rewards get better as you complete each goal and it would be great if we all got a christmas tree or any christmas decoration that requires diamonds for completing the final goal.

I'm a wee bit frustrated with the global events, not having received the diamonds for the last three in a row (and I did fulfill the basic requirements). Just makes me a little mad to see them now. But I did like the double vouchers on the last global boat event.
I hope its another double coin one. i was able to buy my soup machine withe the last one, now I am broke again:rolleyes:.

I think they came up with this due to overflow of Sweaters ads in the Newspaper. Glad they did so. I had 10 of each woolen products and glad that I didn't sell them all. But I am not happy with the reward for the first goal. It was that stupid gift boxes! Dang! So much for spending all those sweaters and caps! At least an axe would have been appreciated. Hope the next gift is really worth it.
My first two rewards where %^$%&#$*% decorations.
I really completely don't like and use any of the decorations.
Does anyone know if the rest of the rewards are also decorations?
If so, I'm not gonna waste any second on this boat event anymore.
