I dont see an up side to this for user's. Are you going to quit adding new events as well? There won't be much use for them without being able to stack potions. Selling off potions to make room isn't worth the hassle.

I’m not sure how pressuring people into using progress boosting items is going to make them need gems. Magic items are there to be used not hoarded. And if your maxed then sell extra for gems.
It'll stop people from hoarding power potions for CWL or war.
I'm sad its going to happen. Kinda was fun to stack items. Definitely devalues troop events if someone is over the limit on items.
