I am glad some players spend money to instantly max out when an update drops. You realize their money spent helps us all, right?

Why place a limit on magic items at all? Never understood that.

Why place limits on gold/elixir storages, why place limits on any aspect of this game.....there game, there rules, just accept them and move on, this really isn't as big of a game changer as you guys are making it out to be, I just dont get it

The point of magic items was to help newer players catch up. It wasn't really meant for max players to store a bunch of them to max out their TH when a new update drops.

Surprised this was allowed to go on for as long as it has done actually, thanks for the heads up.

why it is now called a bug when you said few months ago that it was "intentional"?

I spoke with one of our developers about this and got some feedback from an official source.
Books from Troop events will overflow and this is intentional. The rationale behind this is because the items are automatically awarded, there would be no way to control when you claim those them. This might change in the future to a more manual process where you can control when the item is claimed, but it's not a high priority issue at the moment.

@Darian what about the packages/promotions shop itens to buy?? Will then continue to be able to stack? Example: a promo with 5 books of building, that can be bought 2 times. Will i be able to stack 10 books?

So i read this as, SC had a new thing in game, that didn't work with current coding, so they intentionally made it so items could stack past the limit, and will look into it in the future.

Well look at that, this is now the future and they looked into it and re-coded this part of the game to make it a manual process to claim the rewards.

My almost maxed TH9 (28/30) ain't going to like this. Was planning on making the move to TH10 in January. Might have to do this in December instead.
