The new loot system is there to help 9's and 10's.. The new town halls since the games birth.
What i find funny now is a th9 experiencing what th10's complained about since it came in... Poor loot.
What you see now is what us th10's had to deal with for so long that i almost quit myself.
By the way, th10's are my priority cause 400k is obviously better than 350k. But If I find a th9 then I won't pass it.
Ps the system isn't fixed yet. We have been asked to be patient.

As a near maxed th 6 member. I agree with the predictions. I am barely able to break even on my atacks in any league. Silver 3 to gold 2. Currently i am just riding shields myself and waiting to see If supercell fixes the issue. I fear If They dont the game will fades away. My loyalty even as a Very dedicated player is fading. My one fear is that it will be a issue of pride for those High in command on the supercell ladder. That They wont want to admit They made a mistake and will wait too Long too fix the issue that has been created in this perfect game.
I can understand this update is a more than welcomed change for TH10 - loot has been difficult up there since it came up, from what I've heard. I think you've not grasped the full picture with TH9s, though - what many are complaining about, I think, is losing 300k++ to TH10s far too advanced to revenge. The loot that can be lost has increased by more than 50 %, and although I'm all for the challenge, the pure numbers will lead to a failed attack in many cases between TH9 vs TH10, quite naturally.Quote:

It wasnt the same as what TH10 was experiencing before. TH10 had plenty of TH9 to attack because of the loot cap. At 200k-ish loss, most players do not really mind getting attacked because they can make it back plus a little profit by attacking a few bases. As a result people are still not riding out shields unless they are retiring for the night. Right now most(if not all) people are not able to make back what they lose if they multitask ie playing game while doing something else. TH10 were never making net losses by playing. The main gripe was that 200k was too little loot. its like other games where you needed to grind to grow after you reach the top. absolutely fair since everyone has to go through it eventually. That was a normal game system and not called "punishment for progression". Punishment for progression is when a th9 can attack win a th10 anytime and of course that never happened. Anyway, this is not a complain thread so I guess I will not delve too much into that aspect which has already been covered in many threads. This is after all a prediction thread. This thread wasn't against TH10. I just hope TH10s will realise this strong robbing weak system is not sustainable and will rob the log term viability of this game. It is actually like killing the goose that lays the golden egg because one egg each time wasnt enough. As I said, people will just adapt to the change(including TH10 eventually) and it is this adaptation that kills the loot and the game.Quote:

It is this adaptation that will eventually kill the game. Basically causing a drain on the available loot, as well as switching to a style of gameplay that is not so enjoyable- sitting out shields and having to stay online for longer (as loot shrinks more attacks have to be made to get enough for big upgrades). People ultimately prefer a game that can be played anytime eg when queueing up for something or when waiting for someone etc.
