[Project] Let's build a TH9 base for the new loot system

Not sure if this base is gonna show up correctly...

Anyhow this thread finally gave me the kick up the butt I needed to design my own. This is primarily a hog base but hoping it works well against giant or loons.

I'm calling it "The Octopus" lol

Will hopefully post replays in the morning. Wish me luck

Why so much space in the outside funnels though?
Traps?
Seems a little unnecessary.
Otherwise looks great, I cannot wait to see replays! :D

Not sure on trap placement yet so thought better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. It's version 1 so will tweak (or scrap entirely of course) based on replays.

Im pretty sure the damage is the same nomatter how far from the core of the blast and it goes through walls as long as the troops r within the blast radius
ive seen it happen on many occasions but i have no proof from wiki or supercell

Bloating the base can be a good thing, if done correctly.
Basically it is the smarter way of pushing spawn point back. Makes harder to lure cc too.

Both will work just fine, just eats up so many walls that your outer layer will be very simple - limited troop manipulation. Maybe make a mockup base and see what happens?

Hmm. So would just a 4x4 square be any good? Maybe staggered one tile?
